Apartment with perfect location in Vernazza but too expensive. Althought in our reservation said that every taxes were paid they made us pay more 3€ per person. There is no reception so you should call and wait in the train stairs. We spend money in the phone call and the staff was late. Staff not really helpfull. The washingmachine doesn't work. Everything was really clean.

We stayed on the top floor of a 4 story building with no elevator. 86 steps up and down every day. Not fun. But the room was very clean but small, and had a nice balcony. The bed was comfortable. Vernazza was not as nice as I had hoped but the room was ok. It was a little expensive for as simple as it was.

The apartment itself was great- clean and in an awesome location. However on 30+ degree heat days, air conditioning really should be considered as we were extremely uncomfortable and hot at night with only one fan in the whole apartment. The lack of wifi when it's advertised as having wifi was extremely disappointing. Overall not really worth the expensive price of hiring these apartments

Lulu advertised a nice apartment with a shower and full kitchen. Because of these two things we thought paying the extra money for the place would be justified. Instead, we found a dark, damp cave of an apartment with a shower that was made for a hobbit and a kitchen that didn't work. Not only that but the landlady kept knocking on the door and coming to check up on her rental. At one point, she even unlocked the door and enter the place when one of my roommates was in the "shower".

We tried to let them know we were late due to a train delay but the number we'd been given didn't seem to work. We eventually head from them when we didn't arrive on time. Simone was gracious and flexible about when we met him despite our delay. He showed us to our rooms, explained what we needed to know and was helpful via text for a couple of questions we had once we had checked in. Only wish our two rooms had been closer together and had the 4 single beds expected. Otherwise worked well!

Room was old style Italian and extremely interesting with low ceilings, spiral staircase, etc. However, this meant there was a sit down shower with enough water for one and a toilet where you couldn't stand and pee, as well as kitchen facilities that required a propane tank. Rooms also do not have Internet.

Good bang for the buck at this place. Liked the location. Basic amenities, wifi in common areas only.

We had to stay the first night in a room with shared bathroom (not what we had booked) and could only move the 2nd day into the apartment (we had to ask for the different price!) The apartment was at the 1. floor with only 1 window (+1 in the bathr.), both to a dark, messy inner courtyard. Plus there was a restaurant´s kitchen beneath, so it was almost impossible to air because of the bad smell. So it was stuffy + dark. I called two times but it was not possible to move to another apartment.

We stayed in vernazza my favorite of all the towns. And the room was spacious for all four girls with a kitchen and large bathroom which were very clean! I loved that we were very close to the restaurants and markets. Had a great experience here!

Our apartment was in the heart of Vernazza a perfect location. The apartment was well equipped and had a double bed up stairs and down as well as a single bed. The only thing our kitchen sink kept blocking so it was hard to do the dishes. Our place didn't have a washer dryer but there was a laundry mat 2 min walk so it didn't worry us. Would stay here again!

Pros: + location (on the Main Street, easy walk from the station) + friendly, helpful owner + very clean, in great condition + comfy beds + great shower + no curfew, have own key Cons: - small, cramped - keys opened door to other room where other guests were staying...very bizarre - hard to find and couldn't reach the owner using the phone number provided with our confirmation - noisy (street noises, etc), thin walls - cash only - lack of plug-ins - broken fan

We were met at the train station, right on arrival. Very friendly and helpful. The bathroom was new and the room was in great condition and in a perfect location. It was our favorite part of our trip.

LOVE! Our host was friendly and helpful with restaurant recommendations. Our apartment was studio-style, with one large room and small kitchenette (including hot plate and minifridge), and side bathroom, right on a main corner where you could hear the street below (not too loud at all). Loved the clothesline outside the window. Sink's hot water got HOT fast. One of the more comfortable beds we had! Bathroom floor got really wet with every shower, though and shower was tiny.

This was just a room off a hallway with a shared bathroom (definitely had to wear flip-flops in). Don't go here if you want to sleep in. A bird nest is outside the window and woke us up every morning at 5:30 am. No kitchen. No microwave. No wi-fi. Towels with red stuff on them... we guessed blood. The light to the room was OUTSIDE of the room. So you had to unlock the door every time you wanted to turn the light on or off. The only thing that was great about this place was its location.

Given the reviews we had read about Lulu rooms we were worried that it was going to ruin what was the main part of our holiday but as it turned out it was fine. The steep stairs into the property and the almost total lack of light would probably put most people off given that Cinque Terre is all about the views but it was very central, very clean, had a kitchen that we could make a coffee in and overall met our basic needs. Had it been raining during our stay it may have been a different review.

LuLu rooms was a great stay. The owner was friendly and met us at train station to show us the room. Vernazza was a great place and you can't go wrong with accommodation location as it is so small. The room was comfortAble, with mini fridge, blow dryer, large bed, and bathroom with large shower. There is no wifi though. There is wifi Available at most restaurants and also Internet cafe a minute walk away. No big complaints! Really enjoyed our stay in Cinque Terre

Perfect location! We had to call when we arrived and he met us right under the train stop. The apartment is in the middle of Vernazza and a minute walk to the beach or train. It was very clean and we never worried about safety even though the downstairs door is always left unlocked. My only complaint is that it is a little pricy for not having a kitchen. Thank you so much!
