Excellent new place!
Extremely friendly & helpfull owners, big rooms, wonderfull hot showers and very clean (few stains in bathroom are leftover from construction, so can't be removed) with the most comfortable beds in China! Set in a lovely building.
If there is a downpoint it would be that there are not so many guests so the very nice common room is empty most of the time.
Oh internet is very fast!Excellent new place!

We stayed at the Luminn hostel from 17 - 21 november.The hostel is in a quiet part of the old city and only 5 minutes away from the center. The couple who runs the place are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice and clean and the shower is all the time very warm.
You ask them anything and they will help you to provide it.
I had a lovely time there and I will certainly come back when I'm in Lijiang. I will highly recommend this place to everybody.

Very nice hostel. The couple on reception so helpful. We were able to leave our bags in our room for the night that we went to the Tiger Leaping Gorge and didnt charge us for it. When we asked about a cheap place to eat the lasy walked us to a local restaurant and helped us order.
The room was really nice even had a hair dryer and the shower was amazing. Very nice hostel. The couple on reception so helpful. We were first hesitant because there were only 13 reviews (all positive) while some others have 200. Now we know it's becuz it's a fairly new hostel. The hostel is on the quiet and peaceful side of Lijiang (5 min walk), where you want to be, becuz Lijiang is crazy and loud at night. Decor is authentic and all rooms have a kettle, hairdryer, and TV. Bathroom is large and spotless. Trust their pictures. We loved Luminn, wonderful place to stay. Brand new Traditional Naxi house with excellent decoration and heaps of appliances (kettle, hairdryer, tv). Very friendly staff (although no english) but the owners spoke excellent english and went out of their way to arrange things for us. We've booked 2 days and ended up staying 6 in a row and one more on our way back from Tiger Leaping Gorge. Just one small remark, overall the cleanliness could be a bit more thorough, especially in the bathroom. We loved Luminn, wonderful place to stay. We booked this guesthouse for 2 nights but eventually we\'ve ended up staying for 4 nights. During our trip from Kunming to Lijiang our bus broke down and arrived 5.00 am at Luminn. They only charged half day, which we really appreciated! The location is great not too far from the old town centre, not to close to the noisy bars. The couple that runs this place is polite and willing to help with everything. They gave us good advices (eat&drink) and a map to use during our stay. The best place I stayed at during my trip to Yunnan. I loved the owners, they're a great couple and went out of their way to help my friend and I find the best places to buy things and even helped my friend mail some extra luggage back to our university after the post office had closed.
