The location is really very good for the lively nightlife in the area, and is easy to find on the metro, use the 5 or 9 lines only 2 minutes away The hotel is basic but good value for money, the steps to the top are not what you need after a day climbing the Eiffel tower or a night on the oberkamf. Always someone on reception and can use the hair dryer free of charge, only 1 plug socket in the room tho. Only negatives that run out of hot water on our final day.

The hostel might worth the price but some pros and cons should be mention : Pros : Friendly personnel , cozy atmosphere , internet at your room for just 1 euro per night , hot water for bath Cons : Very old rooms , inconvenient bed , weird stair ( you should be athlete to take yourself on 4th floor ) , inappropriate shared toilet

being one of the cheapest hotels in paris, i couldn't ask for more! staff were very helpful and friendly, and location very good. it would be really good if the hotel had an elevator.

I seen good comments about this hostel before going to Paris, but when we arrived there our room was dirty and the imagine of the hostel is really old and it doesn't feel comfortable, bathrooms are bad and dirty as well as the shower. I do not recommend it!

Very simple hotel, it was enough for just 1 night. The bed wasn't the best and heater wasn't working properly. It doesn't look very clean but at least they have a good hot shower.

The staff was excellent. They accidentally overcharged me, but I didn't notice, they did and made sure to refund me the next morning. It was a nice surprise, they could have kept the extra ten euros without telling me, but they were honest and apologetic. Bathrooms are in the stairwell, kind of odd and small, but overall its a clean, budget hotel in Paris.

Thw hostel isn't realy close to anything important in the city besides the bastille. Its easy to go to anywhere, because of the metro. The hostel seems verry old, The staff isn't helpfull as you expects of a hostel's staff, and mainly isn't kind at all. I had to sleep two nights with the window opened, in the winter, because they didn't fixed when i asked. i wouldon't stay there again.

considering its low price, you cannot expect luxury atmosphere or wide room. However, staffs in this hotel, cleanliness, location(very secure, quiet, many bakeries, restaurants and markets, accessible subway stations(parmentier & Oberkampf)), all of them were great! only one complaint is Wifi connection with smartphone and surprisingly slow desktop in lobby.

nice little place, just wish there was an elevator instead of going up the winding stairs with our luggage

Fantastic location and great for the price. Room smelt a bit weird and there weren't really any facilities available, e.g. plates, cutlery etc.

Perfect for what we wanted, cheap, easy walk to central Paris and friendly English speaking staff. Don't stay here if your expecting 5 star hotel, but we loved it.

noisy surroundings. the tv didn't work. I asked for the reception and he said he didn't know. I lay on the bed for the whole night and bear the noise from outside and from next room. I will never choose it again. and a rude staff.

Me and my friend had a very good time at Lunapark Hotel. It is very close to metro stations of 2 different lines and there is nightlife all around, but it wasn't noisy as soon as we were inside the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again. :)

For the price this is a good place to stay in Paris. The staff was very helpful, and it has an excellent location, nothing touristy (I like that), Rue Oberkampf is just fantastic, in the neighbourhood you can find lovely local businesses, and after Parmentier a great night life. Be prepared that the room is small and old, but not dirty; everything was working fine in the bathroom. No elevator though, and we had our room on the 5th floor. Wifi is one euro per day.

This is not really a hostel - more of a hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were a little dingy
