I have stayed twice at Luna Park and would do so again. It's in a great location, not too touristy, with a cosy neighbourhood feel and lots of local shops and cool bars on the street, in particular Le Kitch. Short walk from the Bastille and Marais. Rooms are basic, but no problems to report and overall very good value for money.

The beds were tiny and the bathroom door didn't lock. Also it's a hotel not a hostel so just keep that in mind, they make your bed every day but there's no organized activities or common room except the lobby. You have to pay for wifi, I think it wasn't much like €1 per day but we have an SFR account and could connect to a hotspot from our room.

For the price in Paris i was happy with the hotel. Nothing too fancy, you are getting what you pay for, somewhere to sleep/wash and lock up your bag. Staff were nice, provided a map on arrival and pointed out tourist places and nearest metro. One problem – there’s only 1 plug, up on the wall for the tv meaning that if you have phones etc to charge up it’s a bit of a problem and if you have a hairdryer you have to stand on a chair to dry your hair. I’d come again due to price and location.

Nice place, nice staff. We found some bedbugs so we sprayed ourselves and the bed before sleep. Not a big deal in asia.

Great hotel and will definitely stay here next time I'm in Paris. Close to 2 metro stations (separate lines), friendly staff, no street noise at night, excellent value. Wifi is 1 Euro per day, strong signal in my room on 3rd floor. Slightly tatty in a chic way, could only happen in Paris.

We were happy with our stay at Luna Park. We especially liked the hallway area just inside our room where we could leave our suitcases making more room in our bedroom area for 3 people. The beds were clean as was the bathroom although the bathroom area was very small. This however we found with all budget hotels in France. The hotel was very near the metro. . Don't be put off by the outside. The staff were all very pleasant. They could do with some new better towels!

Facilities are poor. The lighting in the corridor is out of service and the door of the wardrobe is broken. The bar is just next to the hotel and it is very noise at night.

Fine Hostel, actually not in the city centre but not far away from the turistic places. Good staff and excellent system of key-drop at the reception. The only things i can't value in a positive way are the lack of a lifter and the beds really, really small...

The hostel is in a great area with supermarkets, bar and restaurants! Markets just down the road all week, from food to antiques. Is a bit far from all the main attractions of Paris but easy to catch the metro. Bedroom has clean sheets but the blanket was covered in black hairs and had stains on it so I slept without it. The shared toilets are on the stairs and small as is the shower but they are clean. Good place to stay if it is just for sleep. Laundry place right below as well, very handy!

The showers had some mold in them because they did not have ventilation, some of the paint was peeling, and the TV did not work. There is no elevator so be prepared to walk up stairs with your bags if you do not like that. Other than that, the staff tries hard to help you out in every way possible. right near several metro stops and places to get food.

We had double room with ensuite. Had everything we could need and was on level 1 much better than walking up 5 flights of stairs. Clean and tidy although just 1 long pillow which was weird. Not close to main sights but metro close and easy to use. Local markets were great. On a sunday most things in the area are closed or close at midday which we didnt know so good to note.

Very unfriendly bad temper owner. It´s around 10 minutes´ walking from the metro station. The location is not too pleasant and the building to old. The smell is also no interesting. The heating didn´t work. I hope never go back.

The hostel has a good location for the metro, as I slept in a single bedroom and I had been finding for a long time for the plugs to recharge my phone. Eventually I have no choice but to unplug the television and use it as to recharge...

Luna- Park Hotel definitely cannot mmet with the standard as a hotel. The supporting facilities for hotel guests are far from enough. For example, we have to pay for the wifi use every night. The room is very old. The bathroom setting is poor and difficult to take a shower.

One of the best that I've stayed. The neibourghood is great, the hostel location is also great, close to the tube. The rooms are confortable and clean. The staff is very friendly.

No free breakfast nor wifi. But the wifi is cheap and it is a hotel, not hostel. So you can not expect too much. The room is not very clean, but acceptable. They only have too plugs in the room, one of them is in the bathroom, the other one is the one used by the tv. So you have to turn off the tv if you want to use the plug. The place is good, very close to the metro, and it has many restaurants, supermarkets, and shops nearby. Considering the price, I will recommend.

We enjoyed our stay here. My girlfriend and I are backpacking Europe, so for us the low price and good location were ideal. The room we got (double, shared bathroom) was clean with a handy sink and mirror for general washing - the shower just down the hall was cleaned each day, as were the toilets on the stairwell. Don't expect any frills though. The staff remained ever friendly and helpful and the internet connection, while not the fastest in the world, was cheap (1 euro a day) and consistent.

We thought it was a nice place. The staff was great & helpful & when they realized the hotel messed up our reservation, they did everything they could to accommodate us. They even gave us a discount for the inconvenience. The hotel was easy to get to & the fact that directions were provided on the website to get to the hotel from multiple places made things even easier. It is very close to the metro which made getting to typical tourist spots nice and easy. We definitely recommend it!
