Better than I aspected. I stayed in a double at the first floor, from the 29th of July until the 3rd of August. It was nice and clean, with a window, the bathroom, and all clean every day. There is no elevator and stairs are steep and narrow. There is a machine for coffee and cappuccino for 0,50 euro and 3 boulangeries (bakeries) with brioches, pastries and one of them with hot and cold beverages. It is near 2 metro station in a nice quarter with supermarket and bistro. Staff very helpfull.
Beds damaged and uncomfortable. No bed linen (just sheet). Old and broken-down furniture. Shower mouldy. Despite low price (ca 30 EUR per person - one room for 2 people, shower and WC) the standard was poor. Too noisy at night. Good for one night. Not for longer stay.
I like this hostel. The cleaning service will clean your room everyday, so when you r back hostel in the night, the room is already cleaned up. They change the towel everyday also. there are many small restaurant near by, and i love the Thai restaurant nearby, and sushi restaurant near by, and also wine shop and late opened shop near by (there qare also pizza cafe, laundry shop, kebab restaurant for 1-2 minutes walk). republic metro station is 3 minutes walk.
Good value for the money spent. Especially during the Tour de France weekend. Very standard rooms and bathrooms. Manager very friendly and helpful with routes around the city, located in a nice area but away from the main city attractions.
Fine hotel to stay at for the price. Its all pretty average, just what you can expect for the price you pay. Location is good in the 11th arrondisement. It's all cleanish but not as clean as it could be. We sometimes had a bit of a smell in the room, i guess it came from the drains. Staff is really nice and helpfull and the shower and toilet we had at the room were good. Hot water and decent shower.

Close to metro but a fair walk from Paris centre. Private rooms lockable, but no further security. Reception manned fairly continuously, and bar outside. Enjoyed stay, would use again.
Near to city centre and easy access to metro
Just saying a room number at the front desk and getting a key seemed a bit sketchy, but other than that this place was a nice, inexpensive place to stay. The washroom facilities were located in quirky locations but were clean.
The staff were super helpful and very friendly. The hotel appears very old inside and the walls and bathroom look dirty and old. It isn't far from the metro so you can easily get about. The cost is very low, and it's a place you can sleep and leave your belongings in the day and not worry about them
Friendly staff. We got a TV and a full bathroom in our room, but it's more like a hotel but there're no facilities at all. There're only hot water at the ground floor and no kitchen. Beware of the wifi. We paid for wifi on arrival respectively, but we only get ONE group of user name and password. And after a night, it is no longer available in the morning next day. And it's not backpacker-friendly at all, as there's no lifts and you have to climb steep stairs with big luggages.
I would not recommend this property. It is a very old building. The WC and showers are on different floors from your room. The showers have no place to hang your clothes to keep them dry while showering. Be aware, this hostel is a walk-up (no elevator).
Where to start...mold in the bathroom, rude service from the manager, complete lack of security, ripoff in prices. If your choice is between sleeping on the street or this place, at least the street won't cost you anything and there's probably less mold. I realize a hostel isn't the four seasons but this is beyond anything I expected or have experienced elsewhere
Really close to a Metro station but tucked away from the noise. Close to the centre of Paris but away from the touristy areas. Overall brilliant value for money.

Although slightly out of the centre, for what you pay this hotel is perfect. Standard sized rooms that were clean enough, our room was overlooking a slightly grim courtyard and the toilets were on the staircase which was slightly inconvenient. The man on the front desk was super friendly and helped us out with ideas of where to go eat. Would say if you're looking for a budget hotel that's not smack bang in the centre then this is your place!!
Very good value for money. Lovely neighbourhood.

no kitchen but friendly staff and in a lovely location
A fantastic hostel if you are after a short stay in Paris with great transport links to all corners of the city. Helpful and friendly staff made our 4 night stay even better. Great hostel!
To start with it was a great location in the Center of Paris. Mohammed was vey accomodating, he let me have free wifi and even let me use his computer when I needed to book flights. The room was decent and the bed was comfortable. The only real drawbacks are that there is no toilet in the room so you have to go to one on the staircase which is a bit small. Ultimatley it was a good place and I would go back.
Managed by friendly and welcoming staff, the Luna Park Hotel offers good value-for-dollar basic accommodation in Paris. With close proximity to the Metro, Paris' major tourist attractions are just a few minutes away. Hotel is very close to a grocery store, fruit and vegetable shop, restaurants and stores. Hotel is in a relatively quiet location so we got the restful sleep we needed to be ready to experience and enjoy all that Paris has to offer every day. Enjoyed our stay - thank you!
