Ended up being more expensive than planned due to taxes and fees. Also, if you show up to the Luna Rossa and it tells you to go to the Hotel Ester, look right across the street and to the right are large doors (n.15) and you walk up to the second floor to check in. If you ask for directions everyone will point you in the wrong direction.

Not a Hostel, its a Hotel with good prices. Cant beat the location and the staff was very accomodating. When you check in you have to check in at the Hotel location, then they walk you to your room. I would stay here again.

Great clean place for a great price. Nice location by the train station. It is a bit difficult to find as you are checking into Hotel Ester which is tucked away and on one street which quickly changes street names. Anyways, the place is a great stay, helpful and friendly staff, clean...my only qualm was that the walls are pretty thin so you get woken up early by hearing everyone else get ready, but if you plan to get an early start to the day that's no problem. If you plan to party late, perhaps

Excellent stay, Its a hotel stay so don't expect hostel experience. I was upgraded to the room with the en suite without any extra charge, the kitchenette in the building is really handy if you want to cook and the room is amazing. Its right next to the train station but quiet and the staff are FANTASTIC. Its like a 5* hotel and such a good price!

Firstly,it is not hostel, more of a B&B. Overall, it is quite a pleasant stay. Very clean place. Spacious room. Clean and comfortable towels. Free Wifi available. Near to Metro station. The owner couldn't speak a single English word, she will just speak back in Italian. Breakfast is very simple but sufficient.

My wife and I had a fantastic experience at Luna Rosa. It is one of the better hostels / budget hotels that I've ever stayed at. Room w/balcony had window with view of Duomo. Large private room had modern furniture, cable TV and PC w/internet were included. Staff was extremely friendly. Front desk was welcoming, and helped planned our 3 days in city. Major sites and attractions all within walking distance. Central train station 5min walk. You will not be disappointed with your experience here.

We stayed at the Maison de Charm hotel as part of Luna Rossa group and was extremely satisfied with the staff's services and state of condition of the hotel room and its facilities. Basically we like to express our thanks to staff for their automatic introduction to the city's guide maps and places which we can explore around Florence. :) We are definitely coming back if we are in Florence.
