This place was really nice. Beware, the stairs are treacherous (but beautiful, like the whole building.) Good, strong wifi, even in the room, very comfortable bed, hot showers (though I did shower on the 1st floor, as I was told the water on the 3rd wasn't as hot), clean, quiet at night, nice view out the window. Some of my roommates were loud and annoying, but I appreciated that this wasn't a party hostel. I would stay here again!

Great stay with that hostel. Don't expect too much of the beds, however all the showers and toilets are very new. You have in small bar and a kitchen available. It is situated in historical old town of the city. Parking is possible at the station for 3,50€ per day.

I was in one of the private twin rooms, and it had one of the nicest showers in any hostel I think I've been in. The water was cut off briefly while we were there, but only because of workmen filling in a [very large] hole in the road, so no further problems there... Good place to be!

Really couldn't have been more welcoming. We booked at the last minute and had a great 4 bed dorm, clean and with new shower and loo facilities next door to the room. Lovely lounge and bar with a calm sophisticated feel.

A very cozy bar on site, cheap and good beer. Love it. The staff there is very helpful and will suggest you where to go and what's going on in the city.

Lybeer was wonderful! The staff members were very courteous and genuinely wanted to help you enjoy your stay in Bruges. The facilities were very clean (especially the bathrooms), and we felt secure in our private double. Lybeer's location is also ideal because it is not too far from the main attraction areas of the city. On the whole, staying at Lybeer was a great choice.

The hostel itself is beautiful, has a great social life, awesome activities like the beer tasting, walking tours and pub crawls. The kitchen was nice, and the bathrooms were recently remodeled. HOWEVER, the mattresses in my room were terribly saggy, and had slightly disgusting stains all over the place. Also, the fresh sheets had quite a bit of hair on them. And yes, I checked more than one set. Please do buy some new mattresses and do change the laundry company. Everything else was perfect!

The hostel is very conveniently located, about 1 km from the main train station (a walk through a park, very scenic) and within the old city center of Bruges. Currently undergoing renovations, the lobby and the bedroom design features ( a four-person room) were very nice, though our bunk beds were pretty uncomfortable and held together by a lot of duct tape (as was the stair railing). The en suite bathroom was very nice and the hostel overall was very clean.

Staff was OK, the hostel was clean but could have more and better atmosphere. Good value for money

Overall, an excellent hostel. The showers were especially remarkable: very clean and newly renovated.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the showers were incredible. The staff were also welcoming, it felt like they were bringing us into their home. All the while very close to everything and very affordable. Would definitely recommend.

Great hostel. Short walk from the main train station. The directions to the hostel are easy to follow. Hostel has great homely feel. Free daily walking tours are offered and staff are very helpful. No elevator but only a maximum of 3 flights of stairs. Top floor was quite warm. Wifi worked everywhere

Very friendly staff. Wonderful bathrooms and rooms. If they also offered breakfast, they would be absolutely perfect.

One receptionist was very unfriendly on our arrival. Dorm room had 4 beds but should have had far less, very small! Good kitchen facilities though. The communal area closed at 11! How ridiculous!
