Definitely one of the best hostels ive ever stayed at! Staff was awesome, friendly and helpful, the place is super clean, and the breakfast is really good for a hostel breakfast! Would totally recommend staying there!

Best hostel I've ever been to. The rooms are big, clean and with their own bathroom, the staff is amazing and you'll meet wonderful people to spend your time with within a few minutes of stepping into this place. Not to mention the great location in the middle of literally *everything*, and the metro station just a ~3 minute walk away. In one word - fantabulous! Because neither fabulous nor fantastic is quite enough.

It was incredibly hot in the room during the night, around 27°C, since there was no air-conditioning in the room. It was almost impossible to sleep.

Very clean, modern rooms and facilities. Better than I expected. Comfortable, big bed, big room, everything you need. Included breakfast was great! Wifi was also very good, no complaints.

Great hostel! They have nightly programming from trivia to DJs. It was also very clean and a cleaning person came in everyday. The location was great, a 5 minute walk to the Berri UQAM metro station. It's also right down the street from a pharmacy, restaurants, and a dollar store. There were some homeless people at the intersection but it's a city so that is to be expected and they won't bother you. Next time I travel to Montreal, I am definitely staying here.

A really great hostel - beautiful refurbished rooms, super modern accessible kitchen, fun couch area in front of TV that heaps of people hang out in during the day/ night - really easy to meet friendly people, heard lots of great stories from fellow travelers here! The front desk was really helpful suggesting things to do, knew about their city. The only down side was that Thursday and Friday nights were loud with partiers outside on the deck etc. But they sounded like they were having fun :)

What a lovely place to stay. We loved it so much we came back for a second night. I don't know how anyone can run such a great hostel for so low a price, but M-Montreal pulls it off! The breakfast is delicious, the staff is exquisite, and the atmosphere is laid-back and inviting. The furniture is top knotch and comfy and the parking lot is so convenient!

A really nice warm welcome with plenty of information given. Very cleanly, newly furnished rooms - albeit the bunks were a bit short. Free wifi had a good signal. Was a little bit too modern to reek of too much character, but is centrally located, and very comfortable. Well above average.

I loved everything about this hostel. I don't think I've ever stayed in a hostel with bathrooms that clean. The bar downstairs was nice and convenient either just to stop for a drink or two or a place to hang out all night. There was an ATM on site and breakfast provided as well as coffee always available. The staff was terrific. One of the most helpful I've ever dealt with.

It was very nice and the staff were helpful and kind. However, some of the people we shared a room with were loud and inconsiderate of others in the room at very late hours, such as 2:00 AM, 3:00 AM, and 4:00 AM.
