Welcome to M&J Hostel Rome!
Since 1995 this hostel has the most unique location within walking distance of all the main sights and 2 mins walk from Termini train station -Airports bus stops just around the corner.
It is absolutely a great value for your money!

With two different kinds of facilities, a hostel and a hotel style, M&J satisfies all of your expectations.
There is a Zen style hotel rooms on the first two floors, with single, double, triple and family rooms with private bathrooms, satellite tv - within affordable prices. And then there are 2 floors of dorms, most with private bathrooms.
M&J Hostel will make you feel at home when you're far from home!
Perfect location, great prices and a wide range of facilities provided by the hostel. That's the opportunity that cannot be missed. M&J is also offering some special services that not all the other places can offer:
- Use of fully equipped kitchen
- Maps + Information 24hrs a day (anything you want to know about the city!)
- No lock-out
- Bar / Restaurant open till late at night. Pasta Pizza Cappuccino e Tiramusu' 'the Living Room Cafe''
- Non smoking bedrooms (balcony for smokers)
- Lounge Open till late!

Our bar: The Living Room Cafe which is open all day long. If you're craving for eggs and bacon, Pasta Salad or Pizza, the Living Room is the place to be for breakfast, lunch and dinner or for a cold beer or a cocktail at night. Later in the day you can choose different menu options including pasta, salads and deserts (Tiramisu').
Reservation policy:
Payment is cash upon arrival!
You must re-confirm your booking at least one day prior your arrival date.
Cancellations are accepted also 2 day prior your arrival.
The New Rome CITY TAX ( 01/01/2011) is NOT INCLUDED in the price of your bed. The amount is 2 euro per person per night, to be payd in cash at arrival.

Latest Review
Stayed for 4 nights. Wi-Fi was "free," but it wasn't (currently) available in the hostel itself - had to access it through the bar next door (who insisted that you buy something). I did fine without constant internet access, but could have been annoying if you can't "unplug." Great staff, very helpful/fun. The location was great - brief walk from Termini, easy to find. Was hoping for a better common area so the guests could mingle a bit more. Recommended for the cost, staff, and location.
