This hotel is blatantly trying to force people to spend money at the cafe downstairs by locking the kitchen until 3pm and charging rediculiously high prices for Internet unless you buy overpriced food or drinks at the cafe downstairs. The mattresses are covered in plastic so it's really noisy at night and the advertised lockers are just a pigeon hole for your passport which is misleading. The rooms and especially the bathrooms are filthy and the showers are awful

A huge rip off. This is actually the worst hostel I have ever stayed at. Don’t stay there if you need to sleep well, take shower, use Wifi, or use kitchen! 1. Spring promotion or free Wifi for people who stay more than 2 nights is a lie. In order to get free Wifi, you have to go to the restaurant located outside the hostel and buy foods or drinks there. There is another Wifi inside the hostel, but you must pay to use it, and even if you pay, you cannot really use it because the signal is too we

Horrible hostal, not clean, absolutely no order, old and unconfortable installations and beds. Free Wifi is only in a restaurant outside the street, not inside the building as the description says (you have to pay extra for that). The staff gave me bad recomendations about times ands visits in Rome and I missed a lot of things because of that. Plus, it's a lot more expensive than other hostals. Don't recomend it.

staff nice, willing to help. great location. the elevator actually works, the staff lied to me. a few steps away from train station. facility is very lousy! the basin in the bathroom is smaller than the bowl i used at three. hot water on and off and i was frozen and boiled again and again. plus the water stream not strong enough. hygiene not so well. there is no internet! although you have to go to the bar downstairs, but it is very noisy, if you wanna a quite place, pay for 2 euros per hour!

Despite the low ratings given, I actually had a good time! There is virtually no common area except your spacious dorms, The kitchen is tiny, the place is fairly dirty, the hot water only worked half the time. The staff are a bit touch and go - as a warning the internet price is 10 euro cheaper than if you rock up. There is also no wifi in the hostel - its down in the cafe. The breakfast is 3 euro extra but was pretty good - half decent coffee too :)

I had a problem with the private room I booked and I had to change room 3 times. That was very inconvenient and I got only 20 euros back as discount, less than 10% of what I paid for the 3 nights with 3 people there. Other problem is the luggage room. Why do we need to tag our luggage if no one is checking the luggage we are taking? Another problem is the noise. The room I got was next to reception and I could hear all the talk and the door bell (HORRIBLE) all the time. The first room was great!

I like this hostel very much. Especially location is great but because of the small sign of hostel although we passed lots of time in front of the hostel we couldnt see . Except this everything is great. Having breakfast in the cafe under the hostel is also great and stuff is so helpful.

Upsides: Great location next to Termini and all the buses/metro leading to all the attractions. Great breakfast buffet (even though it's not free, worth the 3 euros), staff friendly and helpful when asking for help about Rome Downsides: No outlets in the rooms, plastic covering on the beds where you can here everyone rolling around at night, funny smells coming from the showers, no ID check when leaving items at reception, no buzzing in so anyone can walk in at any time

The location was great, it's couple minutes away from main station and easy to find. Facilities, can be better, but u can't ask more with the price. However, the hostel should put "the tax" on the website; no matter if it's "real", if suddenly someone takes out a paper and tell me to pay more, I can only feel being cheated. Plus, too many business doing with someone else, makes this hostel is not that "simple" Generally, this experience left me a bad impression on Rome. Sad

There are no outlets to use in the rooms, no lockers in the bedroom, but we booked for the wrong night and were able to switch without issue and the staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. The breakfast was alright for 3 euros but it's location was just so close to the train station its worth it.

Good value, in decent location. Great for solo traveler. Perhaps spend a little more if traveling with a romantic partner.
