Clean & everything works well. Fan was fast. Bathroom water pressure was good.
Location is on the side of town that is away from the Marina Beach & San Thome Cathedral Basilica & Fort St George & other tourist spots.
No gathering room for hostel residents. Will be good if have gathering chitchat area with old chairs/sofa & TV, like in some other backpack hostels.Clean & everything works well. Fan was fast. Bathroom water pressure was good.

I did not get the 10% deposit deducted from my bill as is usually the case. Had to ask for the bedsheet to be changed because the first one looked dirty. Ended up paying 50 more rupees per day for the room for the added 'TV' service, which I think was a 'con the foreigner' job.I did not get the 10% deposit deducted from my bill as is usually the case. Booking this hostel by Hotesworld.com website it doesn't work correctly. In the hostel we had to pay again, they didn't know nothingh about the pre-paid money by this website.
