Beautiful pool and nice rooms. Free breakfast is a great cherry on top of an already good experience. Only setback is that the internet is VERY shotty, thus use outside internet prior to entering hotel for serious planning.

good location . night shift staff (male) not so friendly but day shift staff (female) was okay . when i checked in, room is not ready and i had to wait about 10 minutes. when i go to my room, the bed sheets looked kinda used. maybe the house keeping staff just do a quick make up room without changing the bed sheets ?

MD house is a great hostel offering good value for money. It's in the old town in a nice location with 2 pools, plenty of outdoor seating and great staff. The rooms are simple but clean with nice showers, fridge, toilet roll and hot water. Nice beds and good atmosphere. Came back to stay after travelling the Mae Hong Son loop for another night and day by the pool to relax before hitting Cambodia.

Friendly, helpful staff and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Location in the old city is great... lots of markets and restaurants within easy walking distance, and there are plenty of tuk tuks around if you need to go farther. Great atmosphere and free breakfast.

Everything in our room is fine, except that the shower head in the bathroom is faulty as the flow of the water is extremely slow, making it a bit convenient when we took our showers. Each one of us got to spend about 20 mins to have a clean bath.

Very much enjoyed our stay. Staff very friendly and helpful, room clean and comfortable, good breakfast. Convenient location close to markets, city etc. .Water pressure was a bit low in the shower, but maybe it depends on the room.

MD House is looking a bit tired now. Don't know if all the building work is an extension or a replacement, but it's loud.

No cable or Dvds like advertised. Wifi is pretty terrible. Girls at desk are lovely, boys (night staff) not so much. Girls said the boys could run us to the airport in the early morning, they refused when the time came to leave and went back to sleep. Great location, tour desk is great- loads of info on all kinds, clean and safe and cheap :-)

Normal hotel, do not choose it if you're looking for an intimate/human touch. Kind staff though. Very simple breakfast. Small quantities and average quality.

Nice guest house. Two nice pools with sun loungers and a couple of computers you can use for free. Breakfast was great.

Cold distilled water is provided, which is good, but if electric kettle is also provided will be better, so we can boil hot water to drink. The air conditioner blows directly to our heads when sleeping, so I hope you may change the position of the bed a bit to avoid this. Thank you! The location of the hostel is excellent. It is very close to massage houses, restaurants, money exchange shops (one of them is that famous Super Rich Exchange Shop!) , 7-11, bookshop, pharmacy, traditional market...

Location is good, wifi is bad in the upper floors and the pool needs more maintenance.

Wonderful place to stay. Very friendly staff, we booked many activities through them...the pool is nice too... only the cock was a bit annoying that woke us up early every morning ;)

Very very nice hotel, I stayed in a single room for a few nights it was very quiet considering you're just down the road from some great bars and clubs. The taste on top restaurant serves some some great food and all the local staff were really friendly and helpful. Nice relaxing place if you need to chill out.
