The photos on the website dont look like this place at all. I paid 3 times more to stay here than I did a Aoi garden home and Aoi garden home was far nicer and more comfortable. Sure you got breakfast included but its not worth what your paying, well my room wasn't anyway. It does have a pool tho which is very nice after a long day, and the location is very close to everything which does help. I would stay here again but only if everything else is booked out.

I stay here almost every time I am in Chiang Mai. It's clean, close to everything, and safe. It's usually quiet and they have a great free breakfast in the morning. A great place to stay.

The hostel was a good price, and very clean. I really liked the lady at the information that I bought my tours from. The tour I bought with the elephant, hike, long neck village, and rafting was great fun! Thank you

The hostel itself is fine. The staff needs to take a class in customer service. They have a way of making you feel unwelcomed. They are not accommodating, rude and overall just left a bad taste in my mouth. Although they improved when I mentioned how upset I was, they should have been nice in the first place.

MD House is in a great location for bars and resturants and is within a 5 minute walk to the city centre, night bazaar and sunday market, it's easy to get a taxi or tuk tuk from, the staff are friendly and helpful. They have computers with free internet and wifi use, you can do your laundry here. Overall good experience

Great location. Tour staff member is available all day to assist customers with tours. The hostel is a bit old and run down. The shower in my room was not working properly, not enough water was coming out. So taking a shower took longer than expected. Not the idea situation with three girls sharing one room. Pool could have been cleaner. The day staff was not the nicest to its customers.

The room was clean with tv and ac , even a fridge. The pool was ok, small but refreshing on a hot day. The chairs and sunbeds are very tired and not too comfortable. The price was a little high for what you get compared to other hostels. The price for late check out was also too much! The room was not very soundproof! Noisy at times throughout the night.
