Highly recommend this hostel! The staff were really informative and honest. Two things that ive rarely seen in Thailand.

On arrival the air-conditioner in room allocated was faulty, staff were prompt to allocate another room.Decent size fridge was a bonus.Room size good, clean.Central to all that we wanted to see & do,easy walking distances to markets, food, bars etc & catered for people of all ages.Very noisy, drunk guests returning at 3am, slamming doors, laughing & shouting, took long time to settle down (not every night) maybe need to address this issue for the sake of other paying guests. Would still recommend.

We had a fantastic stay- at fort we saw a triple room and it looked like a dungeon and we switched to the second floor with one double and one single bed and he room was great. Staff is very accommodating and everything is walking distance from the hotel. The pool is great and you can book day trips through the staff who are very friendly. Will stay again

Nice hostel. Clean and excellent location. Staff is kind and the touroperator is literally in the hostel. Booked some Nice tours there. Breakfast is good! Not really a good environment to meet other travellers though.

The free breakfast was really nice and convenient. The location of this hostel is good, was easy to get around. The pool was a nice treat as it got very hot during the days we were in Chiang Mai. The staff was nice and helpful at all hours of the day. Also, a very cute kitten was around the hostel which was COOL

Right in the backpacker district and has a pool! So that's a good start, not really much of an atmosphere but you can get over that by heading out to the close by bars and Zoe's! Free breakfast is always welcome!

Nice swimmingpool, they make your room clean every day. Safety box with your own locker. Wifi is only working at the reception. You can use computers at the reception. Because there was no bar of common area, there was no interaction with other people. Breakfast was really great, you can choose between 5 dishes.

This is more a cheap hotel than a hostel, great value for money and the staff there are great with helping setup your day trips. Has 2 pools and a hot tub but only one is somewhat clean enough to swim in, but if that's a deal breaker oh well. Located right in the middle of the area you want to be in, walk the extra 2 mins and go check out yellow bar!

This is more like a hotel than a hostel... Very good if you want a break from dorms... And the price is good, like a hostel... The location is excelent!

This is the only hostel I've been to with two pools. The rooms were clean and the staff very friendly. Location is great and they have two cute kittens that live on site. Towels were included and our room was made up everyday. Breakfast was also included and you have a choice of what you can eat.

Very good location, good service, clean, perfect for our stay, not much atmosphere/social space in the hostel itself

Staff is really helpful and love to chat. They also have traveled to other areas of Thailand and give great advice. The location is great! You walk out and there are TONS of bars, restaurants, and spas. There is also a local market nearby for foods and small gifts.

I just stayed there for 5 days in my 1st trip to Thailand, however I have been around the world for years. This hostel is a great place, cheap, clean, friendly staff, helpful and great location. I got recommended here by a friend and it didn't disappoint. 100% stay here again. Very very highly recommended Dave 31, UK

Had a really relaxing stay at MD House. Stayed as a group of 4 friends so we booked a family room, had two adjoining rooms both with single beds. The days we stayed were at the end of our Thailand trip, and previously had stayed in large hostel dorms, so it was nice to have a private room and be able to put your stuff everywhere. They have a desk out front where we booked a lot of day trips, and there was a really nice market close by full of food and harem pants. Very close for renting mopeds,

Great location. Good social vibe in this place too.

Good hostel with a nice atmosphere, i liked the breakfast and the hostel in general. I had a separated room but the bathroom was not very clean and some of the persons in the staff did not speak very well english and lacked information about places to visit.

We enjoyed our time here. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the location was pretty central to the sites we saw. The only downsides were that the wifi was pretty flakey, and that we couldn't keep the room mosquito free.

The complimentary breakfast and free Wi-Fi in the lobby was good. The pools were a bonus during the hot days.

Great hostel in a fantastic location, has 2 pools and sun loungers, breakfast is average - eggs, ham, toast, cereal. Rooms are cleaned daily and are comfortable and a good size. Wifi is good and there are lots of bars and restaurants close by. has a luggage storage room and offers lots of trips direct from hotel but no lift access to floors. Overall a great hostel, great atmosphere and great location, would stay again.

I have stayed in at least 100 hostels around the world and this one is definitely value for money. A choice of several different breakfast items including cooked breakfast options and 2 lovely swimming pools, just what you need at the end of a hot day out and about. The staff were helpful and very friendly. I stayed in the twin room with bathroom and air con which was very comfortable and clean, could have been in a hotel room. Very happy and would stay there again in a flash!
