Very near to Berlin Schönefeld Airport (10min walking). Good when you came from other city and need to take a flight early in the morning.

The colorful hotel is easy to find, but not so close to the airport, still need more than 20 mins to the airport or go there by train to the next stop. However, the facilities in the hostel is so excellent and clean!

The best hostel I've ever seen!!! Polite staff, amazing place, excellent room and there's a market nearby with the lowest prices of the Europe. Every time I will back to Berlin, for sure I'll stay at Meininger. P.S: I booked an excellent suite room, with TV and a big bed.

The staff was very friendly, and I love the fact that it's both a hotel and a youth hostel. The hostel was clean and the rooms were great! Usually hostels are bad but the rooms were new, comfortable, with great spacious bathrooms! The only problem with this Hotel is its location. But it's not too bad since the train station is like a 5 minute walk from the train station. It's a 40-45 minute ride to the town center and one station away from the airport. I definitely recommend staying there.

quite convenient to catch the early fligjt shuttle bus is free from airport to the hostel. I felt warm when I got out from airport in the dark winter night and found the bus was waiting for me 3 euros from hostel to airport for the shuttle service 20 minute fast walking , just go straight and when see the sign of airport turn left

The customer service was quite frankly the worst I have ever experienced. In the process of asking a question to one of the members of staff, they walked away from me mid sentence and started talking to a coworker. The cleaner left an ALL ACCESS room key in the dorm I was staying in, allowing me or anyone else to potentially to walk in to any room they pleased. When I returned it to the front desk the manager didn't even shoot so much as a thank you my way. Will not be booking here again.

The hotel is good, although it doesn't have a good value for money. It was expensive, the breakfast wasn't included, neither the transfer to the airport. Although it is close to the airport, it is not so well located. One hour from central Berlin by train.
