Good if you need to stay overnight and catch a train in the morning. Catered more towards adults/families rather than youth travelers. Staff was not that friendly or helpful, but this is a good place if you want to be close to the train station.
Meininger is actually a hotel with some rooms converted to hostel, which means you'll get the same kind of service and organization you'd expect from a real three stars hotel at a bargain price. My room was great and equipped with tv, bathroom including shower and hairdryer which was just excellent. Located literally a few meters from the entrance of the railway station, which makes it the perfect choice in case you need to take early trains like in my case. Wi-fi perfect, highly recommended!
The location for trains is unbeatable and in winter is super cheap, we used the kitchen almost every night and it has everything you need and more. The rooms are a bit small but are all new so it feels comfortable and down stairs reception/dinning/bar area is massive. Staff explain everything you need to know about the building and check-in is quick and easy.
Nice place, great location. Didn't have any troubles. Good data connectivity and WiFi
Had a single room which bad was so small that i need to put the mattres on the floor. Very expensive, better to take a nearby hotel!
The hostel is very near to Berlin Hbf! Accessible to many places in Berlin and has good facilities :)
Yea, the hostel is good but when we were there, construction was going on. That made it a little bit unpleasant. Anyway, this is a nice hotel.
I stayed there only for one night, because I had to move in the very early morning of the day later. One of the girls in the staff behaved in a really bad way with me, when I asked to have my bags in their locker back. She commit the mistake to say that my bags were in another room and she was wrong. And she insulted me when I got angry. Of course, that's not fine.
The hostel is really great!!
When I stayed here I went to the Vabali spa that was nearby, it was great.

Nice hostal but staff were annoyed with the customers and seemed very stressed out and un happy.
Helpful staff and good location. Rooms are tiny though.
Good hostels but average atmosphere, wouldn't really recommend for young people.
Was very impressed with this clean, quiet and comfortable hostel. The buffet breakfast was fantastic.
The location is really good, it's right next to the railway station. The dorm is quite small, though it's very clean.
The breakfast is euro$6.90. It is too expensive and the choice of the food is not too much.
Everything was perfect. Location next to the train station is ultimate. The attractions are only a short walk away. Even though breakfast is not included, it is worth the money! So clean, helpful staff, would certainly stay again. Was very busy and was like a hotel.
Best hostel I've ever stayed in! Loved it!. We end up sleeping more than we ought to coz the bed was just soo comfy.
