very clean, nice staff, free WIFI in a Lobby, next to the Hbf (main station). Total great!

Clean, modern and conveniently located, but not a place with atmosphere or personality where you can meet new people.

Security agents are necessary but those in Berlin were some what fierce. They certainly looked the part but one in particular behaved like a Doberman who had not been fed lately. Coming in the door to immediately hear something demanded in German is more stalag than hostel. My suggestion would be to place a sign near door to say that upon entry security personnel may request to see your room card.

Disapointing that we've booked with two persons and both end up in a different room with other guests. We booked in advance and we wanted to stay together.

Auberge bien placée, juste à la sortie de la gare. Environnement un peu impersonnel mais très fonctionnel. Wifi public fonctionnant moyennement.

Amazing & clean

Great location, only steps from the trains and a short walk to the local sites. Skip the breakfast not worth it, there are plenty of options in the train station across the street.

Ideal as I had a very early train. Terrace v nice too!

The location of the hostel is perfect - nearly IN Hauptbahnhof from where you can take the train, U-Bahn or S-Bahn to anywhere in Berlin and walking distance to Brandenburg Tor. The facilities and staff are great - all you can eat breakfast for not too much money. The 4 bed dorm we were in (en-suite) was clear and comfortable - although it was a little small. Would definately recommend it to anyone visiting Berlin.

A fantastic location next door to the new Hauptbahnhof with lots of shopping available including a supermarket, easy access to the S-Bahn and the rest of Berlin, just a short walk across the river Spee to the Reichstag building, room and beds clean and comfortable (bunks in a 4 person dorm), friendly staff, great facilities. Everything you would expect from a new, modern hostel. I would definately come back if in Berlin again.

Very professional hostel, located close proximity to the central station. Not much character, and not walking distance from the good bars and restaurants in the Mitte district. Fine for an overnight stopover.

Hi Everything was great, apart from a mistake with our boking which led to one of our party having to pay 80 Euros for the first night, instead of 26 Euros due to their bed having been cancelled in error.

I normally love Meninger hostels but this stay the staff at the front varied from helpful to rude. For a 2 night stay we had to change rooms which is silly on such a short stay & when I paid for the whole room so I insisted on not moving, they did not update my room cards so they stopped working. The flush in the room kept breaking & needed to be 'fixed' multiple times, the sound of running water does not help sleep. Overall disappointed in a hostel group that tends to be good.

Very nice and ideally situated. However, there were loads of groups of teenagers in the hotel, who made a lot of noise in the corridors, banged on the doors of other people, and so on...

Hostel is very convenient to Berlin HBF. Staff is friendly and efficient. However, the primary clients at this location seem to be hundreds (yes...hundreds) of German teenagers on field trips to the German parliament and government buildings. They completely overrun the place, ruin the atmosphere, and make the elevators virtually useless as they hog all floors for hours on end each evening.

Great, great place to stay. It is actually a hotel rather than a hostel but just a great place to stay. It has everything and its location perfect. Right next the main train station and only a 10 min walk to the Reichstag and Brandenburg Gate.

i stayed in a 4 beds room and actually its more like a hotel. only me one guest was there and with shower and toilet in the room. it's worth the money but i was hope to have a hostel atmospher there. overall, its a good place to stay and the location is brilliantly good!

So good, but staff was not kind.

I stayed in a single room for 3 nights. I got in very late, but it was easy to get there. The location was really convenient, close walking distance to most of the central sights and right at the train station. I didn't try the breakfast. There are lots of places you could pick things up in the train station and a super market. The room was fine and comfy. The water pressure was good and there was always hot water. There were lots of teenagers hanging around, but my room was quiet.
