The only bad thing is that there is no internet in the rooms

Just perfect! It's clean, spacious, and modern. I was surprised to find a perfectly working hair dryer in the bathroom. Seems small, but it's a big plus for many girls.

Free lockers but bring your own lock! It's a big place, and they have an outdoor patio which could be nice in the summer time or when it's good weather. Free maps and the staff will help you get from point a to point b. Right next to a metro station which is a plus!

Really beautiful hostel near the city center. There is an interesting Synagogue in the neighborhood. Rooms are very modern and stylish. I slept there at the Sunday night, so the room was not full and the room mates were very polite. I recommend it.

While the location, facilities, and cleanliness of Meininger were amazing, I was not a fan of the staff. The blonde guy in particular always at the front desk (I'm guessing the manager) was so rude! When we asked questions about Berlin or the hostel facilities, he would respond to us with such contempt. The other staff at the front desk were nice however. My experience at Meinenger goes to show that having a friendly staff really does make a difference in overall customer satisfaction.

Everything went great.

Within walking distance of everything I wanted to see. Very nice rooms, wi-fi worked great, nice lobby area. I would recommend the pub crawl that meets up across the street, it was a great night out! The bar just next to the hostel had great food and beer I would highly recommend it!

Perfect location!

Very nice hostel, more like a hotel with dorm rooms. Walking distance to everywhere. Great bars across the road and fantastic thai restaurant next door.

It's not a hostel, but a HOTEL. It was the best place that I stayed in my EuroTrip. I strongly recomend!

I stayed at this hostel only one night. I was the only person in my dorm so I was really lucky, cause I had a room with a bathroom for as little as 11 €. The hotel is really cool, there is wi-fi in whole the building, the rooms are clean and cosy. I will definitely stay there when I go to Berlin for the next time!

The hostel was clean and the facilites were good. Sadly it wasnt as good as the other Meiningers I have been to.

It was one of the best hostels I've been to It's almost a hotel their were two people in the staff who were really rude and treated us like we were children, it was horrible but it didn't bother me that much because the rest of the staff was so nice and the hostel was awesome !!! If you go to Berlin this is the place you have to go to. Best value for money ever ;)

It was one of the hardest hostels to interact with others. Hanging out in the lobby is not so fun. Got stuck with one of the most difficult American older men ever and after asking to move, I was still placed with him. Not easy to meet people, this is a hostel for older people or people who do not wish to make friends.

This is definitaly the best hostel I've every stayed in -- in terms of facilities, cleanliness, location and everything. Even though I was aksed to change room once, I had no complains about that. The first 6-bed dorm I stayed was amazing, with a pretty big couch and a small round table. The second one was without couch but still quite spacious. As someone has said, it does have that hotel feeling -- so if you are after some younger, hostel atmosphere, this is perhaps not for you.

Neat, clean and quiet place. Excellent for people who want to rest during their trip. Everything works, almost like a hotel. Easy to get everywhere because of the public transportation. Though, the area is quite expensive.

It's a hostel that feels like a hotel. It was a lovely place with great facilities, but in terms of traveler interaction and atmosphere it lacked.

Excellent location but no character. What's really missing is a meeting place. The lounge was more like a waiting room. I found it really hard to meet people in a hostel for the first time.

It had an awesome location and it was very clean and easy to find
