Very good hostel on a great location near some great clubs, Bassy and White Trash and a very cosy bar called Whiskey and Sofa. Very nice staff also. Certainly value for money. We would certainly come back.

Entrance card hadn't work not only for me but also girls in room told they have each now and then go to the reception and solve that problem.

I stayed in one of the private singles at Meninger Prenzlauer-Berg, and I could not have been more satisfied. The privacy/cleanliness/comfort of the room was everything I expected, and then some. The added convenience of the facilities (kitchen, washer/dryer, late night coffee bar) really made my stay. I would suggest this to anyone looking for a little more than your average hostel stay, and will definitely be using Meninger again.

This hostel is very clean which was lovely, the rooms were cleaned thoroughly every day which makes such a big difference! The bathrooms were also great. It's a comfortable hostel with everything you need including kitchen, laundry and large common area. It's located very close to a station, making getting around really easy. Beds are comfortable and my only complaint would be that it costs a lot to have wifi in the rooms, however it is not a problem as it is free in the common area.

they have a terrible kitchen, wi-fi only in the lobby and bar; the staff was good to us; it´s a ok hostel...

We had a really good stay there. But the price for the night from new years eve to new years day (59 Euro per person in a 6 bed dorm) ist really to high for a hostel I think.

The staff weren't as knowledgable as I've had at hostels in Berlin in the past but they were adequate. And there wasn't much atmosphere. There is a bar but I wouldn't really sit in there, I've seen hostel bars done a lot better!

Meininger has an awesome lobby and bar area where you can just chill or use your laptop. It also has a wide range of facilities available. Overall, I was satisfied with this hostel. However, our room was not very clean (there were bits of plastic on the floor and we found an insect in our room), curtains were a bit dirty and had stains on them, and the bed sheets were very thin and quite worn out. Other than that, everything was good!

I always stay at this hostel because of the location, but I find it a bit hit and miss with the staff. On my last visit here, I ordered a late check out for my single room, but this was not communciated to the housekeeping staff effectively and so on the morning of my checkout, I had two women and a man come into my room shouting at me to get out. I paid for a private room for exactly that, privacy, so it was quite infuriating to be disturbed in my bed this way. Great location though!
