I think it worth the price but I didn't understand why Wednesday was more expensive than the other days. Some people wrote a comment about awsome breakfast. Well I think it totally didn't worth it. I arrived for breakfast at 08:30 and there was nothing left : milk, bread, plates... After tasting it, I personnaly think is was not that great... but the reste was perfect. I just don't recommend the breakfast.

Nice and clean Hostel with an excellent location (literally 5 meters from the Metro). I stayed together with 5 friends in a 6 bed private. The room was clean and spacious with a private shower and WC. We will gladly come back to Meininger if we're visiting Berlin again.

The only thing which desappointed me was about the hair dryer. I didn't get any receive from my deposit so during the check out it wasn't given back to me although it wasn't my fault has I do don't get anything from the staff at first time. I've been a bit deceived but the breakfast about the taste of meat and juices. But it was a great experiment.

My stay in the female dorm was good in terms of value for money. But the mattress was really basic and the staff was friendly but not well organized. The credit card machine was broken for two days and made us loose time in the morning.

Probably the cleanest hostel I've ever visited. Felt almost like a hotel with secure card keys. The location is perfect about 10 mins U-bahn journey away from major attractions and currywurst. Usually quiet at night unlike some other hostels.

Great hostel in a great location, next to the U2 that takes you pretty much anywhere. We had a twin room that was nice and big. Little inconvenient, we struggled to find the kitchen and therefore we didn't cook anything. The breakfast was good, full of options and fairly cheap. I'd definitely go back.

We got a room with size of single or maximum double with 4 beds(bunk)! This room goes with 2 or 3 stars level huge, modern, well equiped bathroom. Wierd...

Lovely new hostel, right next to a U-bahn station, so it has great access. If you just need somewhere cheap to stay, its absolutely perfect, but if you're looking for a full hostel experience, it might not be the best, its kitchen facilities are poor, and no one really hung around in communal areas, everyone just kept to themselves. But the staff were helpful, it was clean, you get your own bathroom, and you can reach everywhere in Berlin from it.

The hotel does not have a phone in the room, and it is not possible to use the phone at the reception either in the event of an emergency. We have been charged for the room in advance,at arrival, and when we asked if we could pay after we see the room, this was not possible. Not a friendly attitude at the reception. Overall, a good place for a short stay, with good value for money.
