Nice Hostel, only very big and not as sociable as I am used to it from other countries.

This hostel was more like a hotel. The room was great, the place was clean, the beds comfortable. However, it is a bit of a walk to the city centre, there is nothing else around there and I thought the price was way too high considering its location. The price doesn't include breakfast....which for what I paid I think it should have. I didn't have the all you can eat buffet breakfast but I did have a look....again, I think a little overpriced but it did look nice.

The first day i entered MEININGER Frankfurt/Main Messe the receptionist were very lively & very energetic, the place was very neat & clean...the facilities were AMAZING....the place was really worth spending for..only one drawback was that there should be more discount for the people who are staying there....the location should also gooood, a bit far from the city but was easy to convenience as the station is nearby...i loved the MEININGER Hotel.....lovely place :D

In general, this is a great place. I loved the staff and the fact that they just handed out a bunch of passwords for wireless internet. The location is very good, I could park my car in front of the Hostel, but it was a bit hot in the room, so I opened the window and hared the passing trains at night. I'm not sure about the security, but nothing got lost or stolen, so very good.

This hostel was very nice! I was on an overnight layover and it was very convenient to take the metro to the messe stop and easy to find. I was kind of nervous about the location bc I didn't feel like the directions were super clear and the road seemed weird but there was a big sign on the building and I couldn't miss it. There wasn't a lot of food or shops in the area that I could tell but it was so close to metro station it didn't really matter. Definitely recommend!

Hostel is very good. 4-person dorm was basically a normal double hotel room with a bunk bed added to it. Train station is a short 5-minute walk away, very easy to access. 4 stops to get to the center of town, less than 3 euros each direction. Don't recommend taking a taxi from the airport--it costs 25 euros. Take the time to figure out how the trains work and get there for 5 euros.

Nice staff! I drew an egg with one of the girls. I'm a terrible painter but she was good!

The hotel is perfect, except that I ordered an extra pillow and it didn't arrive for 3 days. Also, its the location is not the best. However, it is near the S-Bahn station "Messe" so you can go anywhere. It is not a walking distance between the old town and the hotel.

Had a great stay here, my room was surprisingly nice given how much I paid for my stay! Clean, comfortable, attractive, great views of the surrounding city and an en suite! I'll definitely be looking for this chain in future.

Meininger is more like a hotel than a hostel... this is my second stay on this chain (first was in Berlin). It's is located in a new and modern building. We have stayed in a 3-bed private room which was clean and good, with a nice bathroom. Staff was helpful... The breakfast is a little bit expensive (7,90 EUR), but you eat as much as you can with many options... Location is good about 4-5 minutes walk from a train station in a nice neighborhood. Free luggage room. I would stay here again...

In future, I would opt for the same hotel without hesitation.

Great staff. New & clean facilities. Worth value for money. Purpose built hostel/hotel due to Frankfurt Messe therefore the location is not the best place you can get in Frankfurt (unless you are for the fair/hall). However, it is accessible via S-Bahn or by 20 mins walk from the main station.
