Overall, it was a decent place to stay. My complaints are that there was no AC, which made the rooms very hot at night. 6 people in 1 room with windows that barely crack open makes it too hot. Also, since the hostel is conveniently located next to a big road, opening the windows to cool the room allows much more street noise to disturb you at night.

Overall, it\'s not a bad hostel at all (especially for the price and location). The rooms are decent, and the lockers were rather nice. However, if you are traveling with more than a back pack, they may seem a little small. The atmosphere of the hostel was very dull to say the least, and didn\'t seem lively at all. Also, I\'d recommend skipping the breakfast that they offer, as it isn\'t much for the price that you pay.

Perfect location. Right across the street from the Natural History Museum, close to a central tube line, walking distance from a lot of the sights. There is no kitchen though and you have to pay extra for Wi-Fi and breakfast. There is also a school or something there, which makes it difficult to interact with the other hostel guests, not knowing which are kids and which are guests.

A pleasant surprise. Idealy located and easy to find. The building, reception and dining room was large, spacious and clean, the 12-bed room i was in had plenty of room to walk around with two tiolets/showers(very narrow) inside the room + large narrow lockers (but bring your own strong padlock for good security). The only rip-off is having to pay almost £5 extra for breakfast which, of course, should be free (or only £2 or £3) for paying guests. If the prices don't increase I will visit again.

Good location (in the second ring of the public transport system), good infrastructure and accommodation, like a hotel. The breakfast is paid for separately but it's worth, the buffet is very good. Wi-fi is also paid for separately but is expensive. The only problem is that the bathroom is very small, but at least it is inside the bedroom The rooms are very clean, spacious, with TV and temperature control. The bunk beds are small but single beds are more comfortable

Fans in the bathroom sucked. And the fact that there was only one free oulet in the room for 6 people was a pain.

Hostel is quite nice. Location is perfect - Natural History Museum and V&A are couple of minutes walking. Almost all shops that are on Oxford street can be found on Cromwell road. I met some amazing people in my room, who absolutley made my impression on the hostel - I didn't want to leave. The are couple of things to be mentioned. There's no kitchen in the hostel, so it's impossible to keep food nice and freshm there's also no catle, but it's made up with a TV in a room. Staff was all right

it\'s a great location, but the beds were terrible. I stayed in a doorm room for 4 people on the 6th floor and was good, a lot of shared bathroom facilities. After that we had to move to a doormroom on the 3th floor and we had 1 really small bathroom with 8 people.

I had a great stay at the Meininger Hyde Park. The location is superb. I was performing at the Royal Albert Hall which was approximately a slow 20 minute walk. We had a fantastic bunch of roomies too which always helps :D The beds were surprisingly comfy and the rooms & public areas were clean. Would definitely stay here again

Hostel was understaffed and when you could get someone's attention they either didn't know what they were doing or completely unable to help. 10 bed dorm was neat and clean. 'Bathroom' was an absolute joke. Similar to a portaloo. Tiny is an understatement. One of the other occupants (average build) barely fit in the shower and almost flooded the room as a result. Hostel is completely over-priced for what's on offer and charges extra for everything - WiFi, Laundry, Towels etc. Wouldn't go back.

The room was completely dirty, the mattress was disgusting, the bedlinen and the duvet were partly yellowish ( pee ??!! ) and the furniture wasnt as shown on the pictures . I got a towel that didnt look like on the pictures at all !! youve got all these nice red accessoires like towels or blankets in your pictures online that were not in the rooms !! its really rude that you present your hostel as something that its not. plus the most horrible things were the showers in the 6th floor!!

The staff were very good, except there was only one member of staff serving at tea time and in the morning (10am). This meant either not waiting to buy things or not being able to check-out propoerly. More staff are needed on reception at peak times !!! Otherwise very good.

Excellent location - Right next door to the National History Museum and 1 min walk to the V&A and Science Museum as well as lots of shops, cafes and restaurants. The hostel was clean and secure and pretty quiet. Only downside was the ensuite was absolutely miniscule (8 bed female dorm) and I had to go downstairs to use the bathroom as my roommates kept the other occupied for 1 1/2 hrs!

the hostel itself is good ,clean ,spacious ,but the services they provide is pretty basic ,if you just want a place to sleep then its ok ,but 1. the wifi is provided is pricey and doesnt cover most of the dorms ,besides many hostels provide wifi for free. 2. the breakfast is a bit expensive ,you can have a breakfast outside cheaper than that. 3. verrrry small baths 4. weak lockers ..you can open it by little force even if there is a lock 5. you ll be forced to change rooms more than once
