The location is very good with 2 tube statuon near by but as for the hostel it was pretty disappointing. The atmosphere is awkward with not much socialising or activities. I booked an en suite room with 12 people and it had the smallest en suite facilities the toilet is practically under the shower. If your a single traveller there's not much going on at this hostel to promote socialising which is a shame as I think a great part in travelling is getting to know other travellers.

Good functional hostel, I only stayed for one night and it was fine. The ensuite bathroom though was a little dirty but maybe they clean it later in the day.

Location is awesome. You are right next to some of the best museums, and near the Ambassadors homes so the area is kept very well, and tube stops to everywhere you would want to go. Bunk beds, small bathrooms, but its just what you need and nothing more. Modern, and maintained well. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Only thing, was I paid online in Euros and was charged there in the same number of Euros but in Pounds...so the total ended up being much more than expected and didn't seem fair.

Super cheap, super location, the bathrooms could have been cleaned more often though

Unbelievably clean rooms and very helpful staff. My only complaint is that there weren't enough coat hooks. Also, if I have to pay for breakfast, it would be nice to have soya milk available.

Very clean. But facilities would break down quite a bit. And some of the staff were very unfriendly.

We stay in a 8 female dorms, very clean, quiet with the bathroom in the dorm (much more practical than going out at the end of a corridor). Rooms were quiet warm, perfect with the cold outside. Friendly staff. There I room to leave the luggage. 2 min from tube station, nice view on the national museum. Very happy for the price. But breakfast is an extra £6.

I was incredibly happy with our stay. Personally, I wanted to stay in Kensington but if someone is wishing to be more central to everything this hostel may be slightly removed. The staff was helpful, and the rooms and bathroom were clean. The bathroom in the six person room was rather small but still very clean. I would certainly stay here again and will also explore Menninger's other hostels in the future.

The double room with bathroom is pretty small, but cleanliness is ok. We'd recommend to bring some slippers for the shower though.

Fantastic price for what you get. Lovely comfortable beds, clean and spacious rooms. Very helpful and cheery staff. Fantastic location. The bathrooms in the rooms are a bit small but no big deal. The only main gripe I have is the TVs in the dorms...some less considerate people watched on until 2 am. It's a nice idea but doesn't work in practice. Overall v happy and would definitely recommend!

I had a great stay with my friend. The hostel is very clean with everything you need. The staff is really nice and very helpful, always there when you need. ery good location near the metro and the National History Museum. My friend and I even walked to Buckingham palace. Our only regret is that there was only one tiny bathroom for 8 beds in our dormitory. We would have appreciate some other shared showers outside the dormitory. We would definitly go back and recommend this place. GREAT STAY.

Great quality for the price. Good location, clean and spacious dorm, comfy bed. I would prefer no TV in the dorm, as my roommates watching it interfered with my wish to sleep. Good breakfast, and I managed to get free WiFi from hotel across the road in the breakfast room. Great that there was a lift in the building - didn't have to drag a heavy suitcase up/down lots of flights of stairs. Will definitely stay here again.
