Our room was very clean. My bed was dented in the middle. Wi-Fi is not included in the price so i bought it for one day but the signal was really bad so there were times when i didn't have signal from my bed. staff was nice. they do charge you for towels just one pound though. And they also ask for 5 pound deposits pretty much for everything.

I really enjoyed my stay. The rooms were airy, bright and clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bathrooms convenient. The breakfast buffet is a bit overpriced, but it is within the usual range and an easy option to take most days. All in all, I would recommend this hostel to anyone wishing to visit London.

Chain hostel with good location, but I had trouble finding it, because my city map indicated it a bit further Not enough sockets in dorm rooms, located inconveniently so that you have to watch your phone or tablet while it is charging. They provide socket adaptors though Too tiny shower just one for all that is definitely not enough and you have to get up very early to avoid queue. No sockets in showers so you have to use hairdryer in the room disturbing roommates. Showers are cleaned once

The shared bathrooms were incredibly dirty. Wi-fi is expensive.

I really enjoyed these features of Meininger: 1) Clean facilities! I stayed in a 12 person dorm ensuite, and the bathrooms were cleaned spotless every day, very necessary when you're sharing with so many. 2) The continental breakfast was reasonably priced, good quality, and most importantly, all you could eat, so if you filled up enough in the morning you wouldn't need to pay expensive London prices for two more meals. 3) Friendly staff, very helpful. Free Wifi could be an improvement.

The hostel is in the best area of London, really safe, near to Harrods, hyde park and museums. Rooms and bathrooms are nice and clean. The breakfast is good but not include. You have to pay for wi-fi/computers too. There's a place to leave your luggage, but everyone who ask for the key has access to it....at least in the room you can put your locker. So for the price, there's not much include... you mostly pay for the location and the character of the hostel. I would definitely come back again!

I lost 100 pound and two necklaces during the time I live and I realized it when I come back home. I feel very angry about it.

First of all, Meininger London rejected my booking and I would like you to refund £2.90 down payment as soon as possible. You can confirm I did not stay because they did not allow my coming and asked me to ask you for refund. Please reply me about this to erinakawaji814@yahoo.co.jp asap. The staffs were rude, particularly females in London and Berlin. Please reply to me, then I explain to you and resend the mail from them (I already forwarded it well before Christmas! I need money back!)

The shower for the mixed dorm is kinda hard to set to hot or cold, a little twist will make it icy cold or fire hot. Do make a check up on that, room 309 was the one i'm staying in. Overall, a good experience staying there :)

Fantastic location and comfortable bunk beds. My only suggestions for this hostel was the breakfast and wifi were too expensive (so we didn't try the breakfast), and the dorm rooms were very stuffy and could use some better ventilation (half the windows in our 10 bed dorm were locked shut, which didn't help). Staff and security were very good.

The hostel is catered more towards youth groups (ie Scouts, Schools) so it wasn't uncommon to have the lobby and sitting area FULL of kids. Also, You have to pay for WIFI which is a bummer. Pretty clean place that was relatively close to the tube. Staff screwed up our reservation so we ended up staying in a better room than what we paid for, maybe this could happen to you! Overall, it was very average though.

Excellent hostel, the best that i've been to in London so far. Convenient location, clean room and bathroom, really great value for this price if you're looking for a decent place to sleep.

only bad part was the bathrooms in the dorm style rooms are super, super small, with a super, super small shower. Also no pug in bathroom makes it difficult for a female to do their hair without waking the other sleepers. other then that it was a great experience, value and amazing location.
