The hostel is near the train station and within walking distance (45 minutes) from the main sights. The staff is friendly and very helpful, but for a hostel this size, it is deplorable that the kitchen is the size of a matchbox with little seating, an aging microwave and a Becks beer fridge with food jammed in. The kitchen was very dirty with dirty dishes left around. The staff does not mind if guests take their food to the bar area so that compensated somewhat. The rooms were average.
You get what you pay for. Average hostel. Showers were great but the location was a 35 minute walk to the centre of town. The kitchen only had a microwave and not even a sink. I could handle a few nights here but nothing more. Average hostel for the cheapest price you'll find in Vienna.
Very secure hostel: each floor had wings that were separated by locked door. Located 5 mins from Hauptbahnhof, so very convenient if arriving by train. A bit far from city centre, but a short ride via U-Bahn, with a station not even a minute away. It's a big hostel with all kinds of travellers, so it's hard to meet other solo travellers. WiFi worked fairly well. Bathroom facilities were good, though the shower doors didn't make contact with the base of the shower, so the floor would get wet.
Convenient location and place to stay, nothing special but does the job for price.
Our first time at a hostel and we were pleasantly surprised. Great facilities, very helpful staff. Our only suggestion: oil the hinges on the bathroom door in room 406 (and probably others) . It disturbs others when someone goes to the bathroom in the middle of the night.

On arrival we were able to check in straight away even though it was about 2pm. Dominick was at the front desk most of the time and he was really kind and helpful for all our questions. The room was clean with fresh linen. I liked that you cancan choose you're own bed from what was left, control heating yourself and open the window. I was on the top bunk and itit was quite hot even for January. Bathroom was clean and very new. Only downside was they didn't have a good guest kitchen.
Beautiful hostel, very clean. We had a huge room with a couch and a tv, our ensuit had a hair dryer which was very exciting! Cleaners came every day. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was very close to HBF train station and lots of bars and shops, but very far away from any sight seeing. Great atmosphere at hostel, loved the foosball table
This place, like most of the others in the chain, are a good base but not exactly good for making friends or anything
A bit far from the centre, but very close to the train station. Comfortable beds. Large, clean rooms. Friendly and helpful staff.
Hostel was perfect for our short stay in Vienna. It is technically outside of the main tourist sections of the city, but is within 5 min of the metro, so really it makes no difference! And it's located right beside the main train station which is very convenient for early travel mornings. We stayed in a private room and it was huge compared to other places. All was clean and quiet. The bar was nice while hanging out downstairs. Only suggestion would be to add free breakfast!
This is a nice hostel if you want a quiet night in. It's quite close to the international station and metro. We found the vibe very different to others hostels we have stayed in. In general other guests didn't want to socialise with us and went to bed early.
Had a great time at this hostel. Took the train from the airport and this hostel is only a 5 min walk from the main train and bus station. The staff were friendly and helpful. Had a great time.

Good hostel in a good location (about 30 min walk to the centre or 3 stops on the tube). Walking distance to Belvedere palace and round the corner from the main train station. Very good value double private room. Breakfast was pretty steep even if there was a lot to offer - we just went round the corner to local bakeries and spent less. Kitchen is very basic (only a micro + kettle) and no laundry facilities. Staff were a bit vacant and blunt. Otherwise good hostel to see the beautiful city.
Great staff's, so friendly. ..
The location is right by the train station so super handy to use the ubahn to train to places, it's a bit far to walk to the museums etc. The staff and facilities are really nice - great rooms & bathrooms etc.
Everything you need at a hostel --- centrally located, affordable, with great facilities. The internet works very well and there's a bathroom and loo in every shared room. Worked very well for me!
I have stayed there previously and will do so again. But, on the negative side the breakfast is expensive and more outlets are needed in the dorms for charging phones and I pads. Only had 3 outlets for 6 people. Staff is great
Amazing stay but a hotplate world have made it just perfect.
Location was not great at all - central station is no where close to central Vienna Bed were very uncomfortable Toilet smelt of urine even after 'cleaning' Pros - had printing facility and some good staff (Dom was a legend)
