Lovely hostel a bit out of the way. Would stay again. Pro: lots of hot water and EXCELLENT water pressure in the shower. Con: no wifi was even available in our room; our money we paid to get it was however refunded.

the worst thing is the kitchen too small and without windows or another ventilation sistem

More like a hotel than a hostel. Rooms are quite large and very clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Location was quite good just a few minutes by the metro to the city centre.

Not exactly in city center but close to metro/markets. Very much like a modern hotel. Staff was helpful when wifi wasnt working. Some lockers downstairs for the rooms that don't already have them (when no lockers were free, they let me keep my stuff behind the desk). Room was very spacious and had a table. Shower door didn't close so it was difficult to not get the floor all wet. Nice to hang out downstairs - good music, pool, foosball and a bar available. Small kitchen was decently equipped

If I\'m ever back, I will never go to any place other than Meininger. It also applies to other counties that have Meininger hostels. I\'m there the next time!!

Nice youth hostel with separate bathroom and restroom which for dormitory is much more than convenient :)

When we arrived to Meininger I had just the best impressions:))This hostel is quite stylish with nice, good-skilled staff , the atmosphere is amazing , and the prices are cheap:)...What else can I say it was just A-W-E-S-O-M-E. Absolutely satisfied with our choice.Strongly Recommend U Meininger. My review sounds like an advertisement , but it`s not:)!

Very family friendly, clean, and staff were helpful. A nice decent breakfast buffet for 5 euro. They said no takeaways but me and a friend made simple sandwiches anyway and took them for lunch later that day. There were lockers in the rooms but only enough for 4 people out of the 8 in the dorm room.

It's very close to the underground station. But the hostel has only one reception, while it offers a lot of beds. We had to wait 1 hour before we could checkin.

When I stayed there, there were a lot of children. I hate them, so I had not good time. As you know, It was not staff's fault.

I stayed for only one night, from 4AM to 9PM. So I did not have the time to get an opinion. But I would come back any time.

Awesome place, thanks for a great stay! Maybe a curtain or something would be a good idea between the door and the bed right next to it? Bright light from the hallway every time someone opened the door during the night wasn't my favourite.
