This hostel is situated in the middle of all the action of SHanghai. It is also a clean place with good accomadations. I enjoyed my stay and booked addition nights when I happened onto the place.

We stayed a week in this hostel which was a great base for our time in Shanghai. Good bar with cheap prices, comfortable room, warm showers and helpful staff.

Positive points : - clean, comfortable beds. I slept really well - showers never ran out of hot water - close to the subway Negative point : - the music in the lobby / lounge was WAY TOO LOUD. I would've spent a lot more time (and money!!) in the lounge if the music hadn't been unbearably loud. I asked several times for the volume to be turned down, but it kept coming up. Even during breakfast it was ridiculously loud, i just wanted to have a chilled breakfast and i felt like in a nightclub!

The stay was wonderful, sometimes the music in the bar was a bit too loud and it was cold but that is winter's charm I guess :)

Good rooms, but the lounge area upstairs was not great at all. It was cold; don't think it was heated. The pool table was very worn down and the sticks completely bent. Food was very overpriced and crappy quality. One computer was broken, but the other worked...very slow internet though I finally gave up. Beds were pretty comfortable though and the location was good.

Nice place to stay, rooms were very clean. Small common area, but all around good value for the price in Shanghai.

It was a little on the expensive side and I never got hot water in the private room, but other than that it was a great place. The staff were so nice- they walked to the train ticket booth with me to help, they were helpful in a crisis moment when my friend had to call police to report a scam (beware of girls on E Nanjing who try lure you to dinner and drinks or you may get stuck with an expensive bill and scary threats if you don't pay it).
