The rooms can seem a bit cramped, but that is to be expected considering the location. You can hear an elevator but to be honest its not very loud. It was my second time here and I enjoyed it. The staff were very friendly too.

The best hostel, ever. Safe, clean, convenient location, near by People´s Square Subway Station. I stayed at a twin ensuite room, wich is better then a lot of 3 stars hotels. Nice decoration, tv, airco, confortable beds, good shower. They´ve got improve in one point, wich is the insulation. It´s very noisy to sleep, you can hear everything that goes on at the aisle and the automatic door at the entrance of the rooms is noisy all night long.

Good place to stay. All the basic needs are well taken care of. Kitchen, fridge, 24 hrs running hot water, nice and clean shower/restrooms, drinking water, washing and drying machines, 24 hours convenient stores, supermarket/fresh food market. Perfect location. Walking distance to few metro lines and many tourist spots like The Bund, Nanjing Road etc...

上海黄浦区永寿路35号隔壁连续第3个早上7点装修又钻墙又敲打, 不顾及别人的感受... 多次向物业投诉都没效果..这是中国人的冷漠,自私傲慢还是素质智相太低...杯具啊.... The management of hostel is NOT doing enough to protect the well being of it tenant to stop the neighbour from all the drilling and knocking at 7 am in the morning ( it has been 3 days in a roll ). i They should have insist and demand the property management to stop. Saying " we hav

Great place to stay. Hot water never ended. Our room didn't have a window so it was a little dark as a result but clean. I'd definitely stay there again.

Love this hostel. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Place is clean, location is perfect right at the Peoples Square.. A few minutes walk from metro lines. All sorts of local and western delicious food are available in the area. Close to the famous Nanjing Pedestrian Walk, The Bunds ..... I highly recommend it !

Perfect location but it really smells like fish all the time. No windows in the room, it was 28 degrees but the air-conditioning was not working because it is november... So the hostel smell all the time. To many noises in the night like walking rats, crying cats and elevator noises.

very dissapointing. all night long very loud banging noises and loud elevator noises could be heard from the floor above (a market) making sleep impossible rooms were small, and the window simply opened onto another corridor of rooms. the place had no fresh air and consequently stank. If there was a fire i dont know how we would have got out of this place. Packed like sardines to make as nuch money as possible with no rgard to travelers well being at all. Deffinitly NOT recommended

The hostel was in a very good position, closely to the tube. The bathroom is quite big and clean. The room wasn't too much small, but our room didn't have window, and we didn't know when we booked it, anyway for what you pay is a good place to stay a couple of nights.

Bed mattress too thin. Asked them to throw out a hostel mate on drugs, who been kicking the bed for 5 hours but they didn't.

The hostel itself was clean and the room nice, the staff spoke good English. About 15min walk from people´s square. There were some downsides: - Aircon always switched off. Even if outside temperature is only 20 degrees, in rooms without windows it can easily be 30 degrees. It was impossibly hot. - High noise level, not possible to sleep without earplugs and we had a twin room - slow wifi
