Everything was great : The hostel looks the same as on pictures and was very clean. The location is great : you are 5 mins away frome Nevsky st, 3 mins from metro station Dostoevskay, The Ermitage is 15 minutes away.Kristina booked us a taxi to get back to the airport, which was right on time and 800 rb (good price). So, everything is just as seen on pictures : you can book with no doubt ! Serious hostel, very good experience.

Had a great time @MIR Fontanka! Great atmosphere and location in the city center, clean rooms, nice place to stay during your visit, staff are really nice guys. A little bit hard to find but they provided me with all directions so it's okay. Definitely will come back.

During my vacation in St.Petersburg everything was perfect. The city is marvelous, sights are remarkable. MIr fontanka was a perfect place to stay too. Friendly and helpful staff, nice breakfast, interesting design. It was a bit hard to find the hostel but anyway, only positive emotions come to my mind when i remember the time spent in the hostel

Excellent place! old beautiful building, great location, and it's cozy and calm. They have big kitchen and common room. i've met many interesting people there. I wil come back in October)

Definitely a hostel to try. It's in a beautiful building that's an attraction all its own, is super spacious on the inside, has all the facilities you could need, is on a really nice street just 2 blocks away from the major street in St Petersburg, 24 hour supermarket across the street, and has helpful staff. If it's available and in your price range, you should stay here!

Good place to stay

I enjoyed my stay at MIR Fontanka but it was nothing remarkable. The hostel is clean with a good kitchen and one you find it, it is in a pretty good location. Overall a good stay.

Good hostel in central location with friendly staff. A little bit difficult to find at first.

The hostel was really clean and nice, ecpecially bathrooms and kitchen! It had all the necessary facilities- and the breakfast was a big plus in our opinion! The staff was friendly and spoke really good english. The location is great, really close to a metro station and a 5-minute-walk to Nevski prospekt.The only negative thing is that the place is almost impossible to find, so we recommend to take the phone number with you while looking for the place.

Really good Hostel! I didn't have any problems to find it. Before visiting St. Petersburg I just wrote the e-mail to the staff and they explained me in details how to get to the hostel from the nearest subway. By the way about the staff, it is really helpful, friendly and smiling. They made me feel like I was at home)) The Hostel is clean and very comfy. Dorms are big so you have enough space for yourself. Hostel has family atmosphere, especially when guests spend time all together))

The best hostel we stayed in so far. The room was excellent, very spacious and clean. The bathroom and other communal areas are very spacious. Location is great! I would definitely recommend it.
