This is a really great place!!! It's easye to get there both from JR Nara station and from Shinomiya station. It's within walking distance to all the shrines and temples. And what's also important - the owner is a very helpful very nice and easygoing preson, who will give you THE best recomendations for all the places you probaly wouldn't even notice among all Nara sights.

We really enjoyed our stay at the ML hostel. The fellow that owns the place was decent and helpful in every way. He gave us advice and tips and made us feel at home. The hostel it self was small. but still enough room to fit everything you need for a stay. Comfortable beds, really good Wifi, a toaster (big thumbs up), clean toilet and shower. Just a cosy and warm place to stay at.

Very tiny but comfortable and clean hostel. The host was incredibly nice. Very close to a Nara subway station.

Very nice, flat-style hostel, super comfortable beds in a really nice tatami room and a nice living room with well equipped kitchen and sittinga rea. A tv and a computer with internet (and wifi) were also available. I'd ust liked a new shower curtain... Someone commented earlier, that it felt like staying over at a friends house, absolutely true.

I love this cozy hostel like my home. :-) I spend pleasant time in this hostel. Small but cozy, cheap but sufficient facility! Free bread and butter in the morning, free wi-fi and computer available and etc, etc. Specially, manager is very kind. He gave me lots of hospitality. Thanks, Kouske!

The owner is really helpful and hospitable and the hostel is really comfortable. Free internet and tea and coffee is a bonus. Excellent location for walking to Nara park and most of the sights and lots of good places to eat around the hostel. Really enjoyed my stay here.
