Everything was perfect. We only stayed a night, but we would definitely return. The staff was very friendly and spoke a lot of languages, there was free tea and coffee and the boat is only a couple minutes walking from Amsterdam Centraal. Obviously the rooms are a bit smaller than in a "normal" hostel, but there is everything you need and the bed was very comfortable.

We LOVED it here on the boat! The owners were the most helpful, and kindest people as well in guiding us to things to do in the city, as well as exposing us to a taste of Dutch culture! The rooms are small but the experience is great! It is very clean, quiet, and lots of fun! (For those that get seasick you couldn't even tell that you were on a boat by how steady it was in the harbor). Near to the center of Amsterdam, it was easy to walk everywhere. I highly recommend staying here!!!

Clean n comfort hotel ,like it!

Well worth a look if you are in Amsterdam. Basic rooms, but very clean and owners are friendly. If you just want somewhere quiet to sleep this is ideal

Perfect! Only WIFI connection is not present. It would be nice to have it. But it is not a big deal.

Great location and nice people. The rooms are really small, and you can hear anyone who takes a shower in another room! There is free coffee & tea, and a fridge if you want to keep your food on it.

We loved staying in the MPS Noorderzon! The owner was extremely helpful and friendly. Everything was clean and our room was very cozy. It had a great atmosphere and it was fun to experience part of the Amsterdam culture on a house boat.

We really enjoyed our stay at MPS Noorderzon! Hans was very nice and he gave us lots of information on what to do in Amsterdam! The rooms are very small but that was perfectly fine for us! It was a nice experience staying on a houseboat for one night ^_^

room was very good,clean . the tricky part is room interior.

White towel was a bit small, so I wasn't sure was the towel for hands or was it a shower towel.

From the moment we met 'the crew' we knew we were in for a great stay aboard the good ship Noorderzon (a family owned and run business). As three siblings ranging from 27-32 let loose in Amsterdam, we were concerned about staying on a boat, but it really was fantastic. A homely feel with all the nice little touches you would expect from a top hostel. We would highly recommend this to anyone thinking of staying in Amsterdam and we will definitely be back (with friends!) Thanks again guys

Staff were friendly and showed us where to go in the city. Character really good- you're staying on a boat after all. Nice to have the privacy of a twin room. Not a party hostel but clean, friendly, close to the centre, and fairly good value for money.

Nice enough place, but the owner is not reasonable. We thought bringing an extra guest onboard before we went out to dinner would be ok, but he got incredibly rude and yelled at us without any warnings. This guy is totally on a power trip. We didnt know we were breaking any rules, waved to him on our way in, and would have been fine to leave if he would have asked nicely, but he was completely furious and belittled us the whole time despite that we were being polite and apologetic.

Really loved the experience of staying on a houseboat -- just remember to bring cash (not credit card) to pay your deposit. We didn't have cash, but the owner was very understanding and allowed us to bring it the next morning. Also, there is no WiFi, but you can easily stop by Starbucks right down the street. Overall, a very cool experience -- quiet, clean, great location (right next to the Nemo museum and Amsterdam Centraal Station), and you have everything you need!

Extremely pleasant hostel! It was clean, secure and in a great location! The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful with planning for two fun days in beautiful Amsterdam! I would definitely recommend! The only wish I would have was if breakfast was included but it was still definitely worth the money we spent!

Great place! Clean, quiet, pleasant staff and close to the city center, would book again when visiting Amsterdam.
