Nice house, nice room, number1 hosts as a beautiful family. :) Not exactly in the city but ~5 minutes ride by car. Maybe some more kitchen equipments would be good (microwave for e.g.) but besides this it's more than worth to stay.

This hostel is situated just out of zakopane a short bike in or a bus ride. It is in a perfect location for mountain biking and hiking and is a great remote get away place to relax in a beautiful scenic part of Poland. Atmosphere was subject to the fact that I went in the off season at a time where it was very quiet but the host was very nice and im sure in busier times it would have a great atmosphere.
Nice hostel about 15 minutes out from Zakopane in a village. Beautiful surroundings, fresh air. It's run by a family. The rooms are clean and tidy, but the bathroom is outside of the room and is cramped. Great place to start hikes, not so great if you want to take the cable car to the top of the famous mountain or if you want to see Morskie Oko lake, as those need you to start from Zakopane proper. Tip: from the bus station, take the minibus to either 'ciche' or to 'czarny dunajec'.
Fantastic hostel set in the mountains. Great walks/hikes/bike rides, with the start of the Kościeliska trail just down the road. 15plz from Kraków to Zakopane and around 4 plz local bus from Zakopane to the doorstep (if you get of at the right stop) :) catch the buses going to Kościeliska , they leave all the time. Also has a very good heating system. A beautiful hotel full of lovely energetic people. Thank you
Ana is an absolute star. Genuinely cares about the people staying at the hostel, and chilled with us by the fireplace in the evening. Had really nice recommendations and made me feel so welcome. This place has a warm and friendly atmosphere and is in a beautiful spot, just outside town (short bus ride). The perfect getaway.
Very nice owners - a lot of support for organizing our treks and also caring a lot for us. Thanks!
We had a wonderful stay at MTB hostel. It was a little bit out of town but that was perfect for what we wanted - a bit of relaxing time! Michal was very helpful and helped us with tours, bike rentals etc. we felt very comfortable and at home at MTB. A great place for a bit of down time with some fresh air!
Very good location to visit natural places around Zakopane.
Room was big, sunny, cozy. Bed was OK. Everything is made of natural wood. Stuff was friendly, location near mountains, quiet place. Koscielisko is small quiet village. Zakopane is noisy and full of traffic and tourists. Mountains are super, especially when it's not raining. So, check the weather before!
This hostel was fine, its a bit out of Zakopane but well located for hiking in the national park. Apart from myself and my friend only Polish families were staying there so it didn't have that backpacker vibe.
The hostel had a good location. Near a brilliant track through two big valleys in tatra mountains. The staff was great!! Michael was really nice to us: picked us up at the station for a small fee. We had a horrible night because of a very noisy and drunk room mate. So the next day Michael moved him and also gave us a free cappuccino for the trouble. Very good service! The place had every facility you needed except it wasn't too good insulated, which made it worse when the guy was very noisy.
One of the most beautiful hostels I ever been. The location in perfect (car is preferable), owner is cool. Great common space. Would definitely come back.
