There live a family and there is too much noise. It was difficult to rest because of children. The owner looked like too serious.

Great place to rest at any time of the year. Good room, there is a place for cooking dinner and a nice lounge with great view.
Staying in the family home was a lovely experience- it is 5 minutes from town but we enjoyed the peace and quiet! Buses are quite regular and if the host is going into town he will happily give you a lift! Helps organise activitie for you to do straight away upon arrival and on our last day he helped organise for us to get to bratislava which was too kind. His wife is absolutely lovely and they have excellent English which is great to have a chat to them about their lives in poland. Thanks!!!
Nice house, nice room, number1 hosts as a beautiful family. :) Not exactly in the city but ~5 minutes ride by car. Maybe some more kitchen equipments would be good (microwave for e.g.) but besides this it's more than worth to stay.

This hostel is situated just out of zakopane a short bike in or a bus ride. It is in a perfect location for mountain biking and hiking and is a great remote get away place to relax in a beautiful scenic part of Poland. Atmosphere was subject to the fact that I went in the off season at a time where it was very quiet but the host was very nice and im sure in busier times it would have a great atmosphere.
Nice hostel about 15 minutes out from Zakopane in a village. Beautiful surroundings, fresh air. It's run by a family. The rooms are clean and tidy, but the bathroom is outside of the room and is cramped. Great place to start hikes, not so great if you want to take the cable car to the top of the famous mountain or if you want to see Morskie Oko lake, as those need you to start from Zakopane proper. Tip: from the bus station, take the minibus to either 'ciche' or to 'czarny dunajec'.
Fantastic hostel set in the mountains. Great walks/hikes/bike rides, with the start of the Kościeliska trail just down the road. 15plz from Kraków to Zakopane and around 4 plz local bus from Zakopane to the doorstep (if you get of at the right stop) :) catch the buses going to Kościeliska , they leave all the time. Also has a very good heating system. A beautiful hotel full of lovely energetic people. Thank you
