This hotel was on a great location, very well connected to the public transport. The man from the reception was there 24/7, he was super friendly. The staff from the breakfast was not so friendly. Our room was quite small, but very clean, like the shower and the toilet.

Excellent location (2 mins from King's Cross), copious breakfast, friendly staff, quiet (in our 3rd-floor room at least). Ideal if you're looking for a centrally-located cheap hotel. Only downsides - communal showers on 3rd floor sometimes ran out of water (had to wait 5 min for it to return, bizarre), had to queue for table in breakfast room every morning, it's too small to accommodate everyone. But aside from that, this hotel is a great place to stay after a day wandering around London!

Well, the hotel is ok. The staff is very friendly, the the hotel is quite nice, the room was very small as it is usual in London, but ok, - only the mattress was horrible floppy. It's located near KingS cross, so it's perfect to get quick everywhere. The hotel itself is located in a quiet street. What we didn't like is: the breakfast is served everyday between 7 am - 9 am, sorry it was really to early for us! I think it's a good price - quality ratio, but I would try another one next time...

It´s a good hostel. The only problem (for me) was to share the bathroom, which were really tiny, although the bathrooms were very clean. The people in the reception were very nice and helpful. I would recommend this hotel.

We loved everything! The room was big enough for two people with largae suitcases, we had our own bathroom which worked marvellously. English breakfast was really full and second serving was provided for free. Plus the staff was really helpful and friendly. Location is ideal, really close to King's Cross tube station and St. pancras International railway station (from where trains to Gatwick go). All in all we enjoyed our stay enormously and would go again anytime. Thanks MacDonald!

The breakfast room is a bit small to welcome all customers during the breakfast hours (8 am-10 am). You may have to queue before a table gets available.

Apart from the lack of space, the stay was pleasant.

London is an incredibly expensive city. This hotel represents excellent value for London. The twin room had more than average space in its price range than normally found elsewhere . The room was clean comfortable & warm. I would stay there again & as such would recommend this hotel to anybody..

The MacDonald Hotel has great proximity to St. Pancras Station for catching the Eurostar. We found the hotel staff to be very friendly and welcoming. The included breakfast is also a great benefit. There are lots of eat shops and pubs nearby on Euston Road. The only issue was with the toilet in our bathroom which often backed-up and was quite noisy when flushing. The issue was resolved promptly by hotel staff, however.

Very nice breakfast&very good location! Just one problem: the blanket is quite heavy and is not very comfortable when sleeping. Why not use quilt instead?

We enjoyed the full breakfast, friendly staff and close proximity to the Kings Cross St. Pancras tube station. Into downtown London it was about a 45 minute walk, but we didn't mind that when the weather was nice. Being three smaller females the beds and washroom facilities were fine, but for anyone taller it may be harder to fit.

First, they wanted to give us a room in the celler with view to the wall, but after we complained, they gave us a decent room on the ground floor, which was quite small, but pretty. The staff is very nice, but the hotel is quite loud, feels rather like a youth hostel than a bed and breakfast. The breakfast is not very nice either. But the location is awesome! You're in the centre in 10 minutes! But for london standards, the hotel is quite ok, just ask for a room in a upper floor.
