Great place to stay. Convenient location being so close to King's Cross St. Pancras. Owner/Manager is extremely helpful. Included breakfast is an absolute bargain. Very, very happy indeed.

Because of the snow and ice, Eurostar trains did not leave France/Gare du Nord on Tuesday 12 March and Wednesday 13th March. I immediately called the hotel and they were very kind in acdepting the cancellation with only paying the prepayment already made. I will use their services again in the future (end of April for the report of the trip). Your system forced me to give a rating, which is stupid because the trip did not take place !!!

The hotel was in a good location-near 3 train stations & an easy Tube ride to downtown. The staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was filling (full English breakfast each day), and everything was super clean. The only downside was that it was a bit old and our room (which was pretty tiny) was in the basement, so there was a bit of a mildew smell in the shower room-but it was very clean! It was just the lack of windows & light. So try to get a room not in the basement and it'll be great!

50 meters from the underground at Kings Cross, Slept in a 3 beds private. Clean, tidy and quiet. Higher standard for a low cost than other locations in London.

MacDonald Hotel's rooms are very small but clean. The staff is helpful, and the price is okay. We stayed here for four days and discovered we didn't like the location - King's Cross is busy and lacks character, though the British Library and British Museum are both a short walk away. Overall a decent hotel with a decent breakfast. Cheap and adequate.
