We stayed here with 5 persons for 1 night and the hostel was realy nice! Though it is a smaller hostel the rooms and bathroom en suite are spacious. The staff was realy friendly and it's nice when you see how dedicated this people do their job and try to give you a pleasant stay, and it was a pleasant stay. Wish we could have stayed longer then one night :)

Staff was very helpful. They had good suggestions for dining and drinks. Also gave good driving directions to Kell's Priory.

Staff are super friendly! Loved staying there, rooms were clean and there is a kitchen and common area. Careful if you are driving though there isn't much parking - we got a ticket! (that's not a criticism the hostel just something to keep in mind!)

The staff was excellent and took time to show us around the hostel instead of just giving us the information straight. The atmosphere they had set up really allowed for mingling with other travellers and meeting new people. Great location in Kilkenny, only 2 minutes from center of the town.

Best hostel in Kilkenny! The rooms are very nice and very clean, and there are free to use lockers in there for your valuables. The staff is also great and very helpful, eager to help with anything. The only comment would be that the internet connection is not very good, but as soon as you ask for help with this it is taken care of :)

This was overall a good hostel, if a little tired and worn down. Our main complaint was that the bunk beds in our triple room were SO SQUEAKY. Anytime someone moved the rest of the room was awake. It made for a long and sleepless night. However the staff was friendly and very accommodating in allowing me to use their phone and computer when trying to locate my lost luggage.

pretty good place... just a bit far from the center. But is a good option if you have a car.

Hostel was very clean and in a great location. It was very nice having free breakfast and tea too! The only negative aspect was the internet was slow at times.

I liked the common (living) room and the kitchen very much, but I didn´t like my room so much, because it was quite dark and the mattresses were very uncomfortable (not flat). The stuff was very friendly, communicative and helpful. In the hostel there was a lot of information about the city and the places worth sightseeing.

Shower was a little small and you had to rent towels--neither of which we are used to doing but may be typical for hostels. Also parking was limited on a busy street. It also seemed a little dark with minimal lighting. Overall we enjoyed our short stay there and appreciated having facilities to prepare food.

Very good hostel to stay in, just a walk away from the city centre. Facilities are kept very clean, so no complaints about that. Rooms were a bit old but clean and cosy. Staff was very friendly and eager to help if you had a problem. Also, there was a fully equipped kitchen and the possibility to sit outside. Overall we had a very nice stay, highly recommend it. We had a lovely stay here. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the place was small and had character. It was so close to everything. I would stay here again if I went back to Kilkenny.

A lovely little family-run traditional hostel. Very comfortable with a nice atmosphere. The location is just outside of the town centre but the walk is short and convenient, with a small shop very close-by. The staff were all very helpful and friendly.

A small hostel on two floors just out of the central area (Kilkenny's a pretty small town anyway). No elevator. It's an old building, so the facilities aren't the best - but they do the job. If you're in a room looking down on the street, it'll be noisy due to traffic - bring ear plugs. The staff member who checked me in was eager to make me feel at home and introduce me to Kilkenny.
