I recommend this famous hostel. Good service with cleanliness and kindness. Little expensive but bathroom was not crowded and the room was cozy enough(was not big though). I like there.

The common area was poorly ventilated. It was so hot! The room also has no ventilation, unless you open the window (which is to the interrior, not outside). The breakfast was very poor. Coffee and croissant. The staff was OK, helpful.

4 bed dorms were a little cramped for space but if you only use it for sleeping it's not really a problem. Not much space between bottom and top bunk either. Included breakfast probably isn't enough on it's own for a breakfast but still good to get. Good value for the price range. Would stay there again.

Fun common room, good breakfast, nice staff - they made sure we were all in the same room even though we were all from different bookings. Cool location, overall decent place to stay.

Good hostel, very small dorms though, you can hardly get dressed or pack your stuff in the room, lockers are big enough. Breakfast is OK, internetfacilities adequate, kitchen too small and only a few utensils available, boil water and make a basic spaghetti is the most you can expect. Hot showers. Overall a good place to stay.

The staff were horrible, very unfriendly and not helpful. We arrived at 12 for check in and we were allowed to check in however the room had not been cleaned from the previous occupants and we had to change the sheets ourselves. The facilities were great about 3 years ago when this hostal got good reviews but after general use over the years and no maintanence everything is worn out. There are other great value for money hostals in Madrid, stay there as not to be disappointed!

The location and atmosphere were really good..however in the kitchen some equipment is missing..just 5 glasses and few plates are not enough for all guest..I would love to have warm water in sinks in bathrooms as well. The rest was perfect and we had a good time there. I recommend this hostel if you want to ge in the centre with backpack' travelling spirit.

Very good location, just near from bars and restaurants and Plaza del Sol. The staff was helpful and the big salon was really fun to meet people, to talk with us, and have fun (there is a billiard too)! But the kitchen is very small with only one stove and one saucepan. Clean rooms but small beds.

The bunk beds are too small between each bed. One cant even sit down and i am not even that tall. But in general nice place. Breakfast kinda plain, and you have to leave a 10 euro deposit when you arrive.

Thanks for a great, accommodating stay. I just wish there had been more hostel-sponsored activities or suggestions for things to do in Madrid.

Nice hostel,. lots of common space downstairs and great terrace is the weather is nice. Beds are noisy and showers are on self timers. Only stayed for one night while traveling between cities but would stay again longer as it seems to be a social and fun hostel

TERRIBLE. I would not recomend the hostel to anyone: rooms are way too small, there is not enough room between the two beds (you can't even sit in the bottom bed), they are very strick with everything, everything has rules, staff was not friendly (even to hispanohablantes), they have no common room if you want to use internet or watch a movie, there was 1 energy plug in a room for 6 people, in the bathroom you have no place to hang your stuff. Felt like a cold enterprise, not a youth hostel.
