I really liked the atmosphere in this hostel. It's common room was fulled with young spirit. The staff was really kind. On the other hand, the room was so small and I had to push a shower booth constantly. Though, I would stay again here if I visit Madrid in future.

The staff is rude, the room is not clean. The lockers make much noise. The price is very high for the benefits.

Mad Hostel is a big hostel but a great one. There are massive lockers to keep all your things in in the rooms, and there is a big common area to meet others and chill out. Great location, easy to find. Small kitchen. Recommended!

Lovely first hostel experience. Clean, central location, and English speaking staff. Got to meet some very cool people as well. Would definitely return if ever in Madrid

This is a very good hostel, great location, a good quality services for its guests. Breakfast is also included. I really liked the fact that all beds had their own locker and made me feel safe. excellent staff, very helpful.

Good hostel. Beds were comfy and always clean. Hot showers. Free breakfast was everything you could need. Rooms all had a large security locker for each guest. Big enough to fit a bag. Liked the common room. Always played good music. Good wifi. The pub crawl was awesome! Great value! Location was nice, close to downtown! We heard there was a gym at the hostel and weren't impressed with the condition. The weight machine had no cable. The bench was in pieces. Cardio machines worked poorly.

great choice, has everything you want in a hostel. I prefer their neighbor Cats Hostel, but it's still a great one

We could not have asked for anything more in a hostel. It had everything we needed, was very clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful when one of the guys in our group had an allergic reaction. It was not the best hostel I've ever stayed in, but I have no complaints. Oh and the breakfast was fantastic. We even hung around in the kitchen afterwards to get the leftovers to take with us for the journey.

All 3 of the door staff were very kind, accommodating and informative! They wanted us to see the best of Madrid and helped us a lot when we had problems.

Friendly staff, good value for money, private room had a balcony! Has breakfast and vending machines which make late night drink and food runs convenient. A bit of a shady area, but lots of food options and bars nearby. They have good nightlife tour. Everything was close enough that I never had to use metro!

The location is really good and staff and hostal activities were great! What I didnt like that much is that the bathroom was always crowded and the rooms were very, very small, so every move had to be agreed upon with the roommates. And one socket for six persons is not that much...So its a good base to discover the city, as long as you dont plan to stay too much in your room ^^

Definitely clean, and not too loud. I liked that the keys could be worn like bracelets - it helped me not lose mine. The showers were a little strange, though (you have to keep pressing them, like sinks in public bathrooms). It was easy to navigate the neighborhood and to get to main areas like Puerta del Sol. Overall a good stay.

Mad Hostel has a very big 100% which is the location. It is near almost every truistic/artistic place people want to go when in Madrid. The beds, facilities in general and breakfast are not what you would like to have if looking for a place to hang out more for most of the time, but it has everything you could need (kitchen, computers, lockers and etc). The bad aspect is that the staff could have a little bit more of sympathy, but all and all it is a very good hostel in terms of the value/money.
