The hostel was nice , the biggest downfall was there was very little going on around the hostel. Egg not enough things to bring people together if you were traveling on u r own , I know they have the tours and tapas nights , but for the most time the hostel felt very empty and cold
WOW. Loved the breakfast!!! Nice Location between Metro and supermarket. Coudn´t really sit up in my lower bunk but wasn´t a problem. Bed was comfy and the room was big. Also the bathroom was big and the shower had warm water and everything was clean.

Great location, very friendly and helpful staff, very good breakfast.
We stayed in a 4 bed room close to the kitchen and in the morning is a little bit noisy, employees are making so much noise pulling the chairs instead raise them up. Also, if people stay late at night in the interior court you will hear the noise. Otherwise, the room was clean and the hostel is close to Tribunal metro station. The area is very dynamic at night, with bars and restaurants. All the mattresses were changed on 13th March. The breakfast is consistent, but wake up early to grab some.
Needed a place to stay for two nights and this place was perfect. 14€/night in an 8-bed dorm with breakfast included. 24hr reception adds to the security. Not super party hostel so good for those needing to catch up on sleep or chill out. Would definitely stay again
Great location and offers a lot of activities for those who are interested. The showers were awesome with hot water and the breakfast is impressive. Unfortunately, you can hear the noises from the kitchen very clearly to the rooms so sleeping late is not easy for everyone. Also, the stove only let's max. 2 people to cook at the same time so not very conveninet at dinner time in such big hostel. Still, I warmly recommend this hostel especially now you changed the mattresses!
My second time staying there and it's great! Super cheap for what you're getting.
I really, really enjoyed the stay! since it was out of season I got a dorm with bathroom all for myself and the staff was always happy to help and give you tips where to go. Breakfast was very nice and the rooms cleaned daily. I was very satisfied with my stay and will definitely be back!
I thought overall the hostel was great. We had a few problems with the tankless water heater's gas being turned off and were unable to get hot water. Also while we were there a group on school kids was staying there and they were very loud as the main area echos quite a bit.

Location was good but...Worst nights sleep ever. We had a dark, dingy room with what i can only describe as childrens metal bunk beds that were not only uncomfortable but sqeeked so loudly you woke yourself and most the room up every time you move in your sleep. The lockers were very small. No atmosphere at ALL, but that maybe because we stayed off season. Cleaners came in to change beds and hover while we were still asleep. Wifi only really worked around the kitchen area and not in room.
Wifi a bit dodgy in Female dorm but worked well when I had it. Thank god they have cleaners everyday as well because some people were pigs, so it's very clean. Staff wereovery kind and helpful, rooms warm and comfortable, good location for walking everywhere, but not ideal for late at night by yourself (like anywhere really), as its not in a very busy area as its off the main roads. They had bed lamps, just a bit better if they also had a power socket in more convenient locations for everyone.
Nice Hostel located close to the metro so it is easy to get around to all the sights. Area was quiet . Staff was welcoming and knowledgable about Madrid. They have a large kitchen and serve a decent breakfast in the morning. Not a bad place to stay in Madrid for a few days.
Lockers were too small couldn't fit in our backpacks! Beds were so squeaky that when the 6dorm was full it was impossible to sleep due to the noise. There was only one bathroom for each floor of around 12-13rooms per floor (not sure who had a private bathroom). On our second day two floors ran out of toilet paper and were out for hours. Third day the toilet was blocked we informed staff nothing was done until the following day. There is a bar downstairs but actually nowhere to sit and drink.
The shower holder in room 18 is broken so you have to keep putting the shower head down to wash yourself. It means that people spend longer than they need to in the bathroom. The bottom bed opposite the door on the right feels like you are sleeping in a hole. I think some of the wooden slats holding the mattress are broken. They need replacing or moving from the middle (where my hips are) to the end where my feet would be. Apart from that it was all great.
Great location, although it was quite noisy during the night. The internet wasn't working very well, but the rooms were air conditioned, very clean and nice. A good place to stay.
Amazing hostel in lovely ubication. I booked a single room for a decent price and it had an air conditiol and a window. The staff is excepcional and the buidling is preserved Spanish house.
Very nice hostel, great staff, always ready to help you and extremely friendly. The breakfast was the best I ever had in hostels I´ve been, really complete.
good place to stay, the breakfast could provide more healthy food, like fruit or vegetable
Perfect location in Malasaña, with it's hip cafees and less tourists. nice staff an very good price including free walking tour and breakfast! Enjoy
