Well it's cheap, but owner cleans it every day. It doesn't say on HW but he also offers surfing lessons. And he teaches it himself, so after lessons you can also talk with him and so on. Surfing spot is 5 min by walk but if you take surfing with him he will take you with car or even to other spots if conditions are bad on that day. Othervise you get breakfast, fresh bread, milk coffie... There is exelent resturant 'pipa' 100 m away. Quiet you have roof terese and one below... 5* for a price :D
The hostel is really well-located: very close to the ocean. It is really charming one and the personel is very gentle and very talkative about surf.

We had a great time at the madeira surf camp ! The house feel like home !
very nice, small hostel in beautiful town with friendly staff. nice "base" to start your trekking tours from or go surfing - two beaches with different surfing conditions are in walking distance.
