The owner/manager was very open and very helpful. He gave great suggestions for restaurants, trekkings in the neighbourhood as well as further away. He also pointed out that, during rainy days, the small local roads may treacherous due to rockfall. I really appreciated his help!

Well it's cheap, but owner cleans it every day. It doesn't say on HW but he also offers surfing lessons. And he teaches it himself, so after lessons you can also talk with him and so on. Surfing spot is 5 min by walk but if you take surfing with him he will take you with car or even to other spots if conditions are bad on that day. Othervise you get breakfast, fresh bread, milk coffie... There is exelent resturant 'pipa' 100 m away. Quiet you have roof terese and one below... 5* for a price :D

The hostel is really well-located: very close to the ocean. It is really charming one and the personel is very gentle and very talkative about surf.
