Don't go here! It's THE WORST HOSTEL I'VE EVER SEEN!No reception, we came to hostel door and it was closed. We waited for hours until the owner decided to come.Another suprise was, when we had reservation for PRIVATE DOUBLE room for 20 euros and he said that are information on hostelworld.com wrong and THIS MEANS ROOM WITH 4 BEDS. Because it was dark,we stayed, but the next day we found another hostel.Bathroom is also terrible! And breakfast?2 small bags of small breadrolls for everyone!NEVER AGAIN!

The Madeira Surfcamp is a very nice and small new hostel located in the north of the island. Except the fact that we couldn´t lock the door in the days we were there, it was quite perfect. The owner is really nice and helpful, providing breakfast every morning and a fully equipped kitchen to have yourself dinner etc.
