This is a really nice hostel. It is in a great, central location, that is not too noisy at night. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and i was given a really nice meal on my first night! The beds are also a plus - you can sit upright on the bottom bunk! Great hostel - i would stay here again and reccomend it :-)

We had a wicked time in Madness, excellent and friendly host!!

The manager was excellent and responded quickly to our requests. We had far more space than expected.Even a free ride to our bus in the morning.

The location of the hostel is perfect! And Srdjan was very helpful, even driving us to the train station VERY early in the morning. We met loads of great people and felt like we were visiting someone's home. Everyone made us feel very welcome and it was the perfect Serbian hospitality we were looking for. They also cooked a beautiful and delicious meal for everyone at the hostel and it was unreal! Thanks so much for everything!

The wifi is very good, the shower is hot and it's easy to meet people. I ended up in hospital for 3 days during my stay and they took care of me and my stuff the whole time - even providing an interpreter in the emergency room.

Very kind owner, he invited us for dinner, offered rakia and helped us with everything. The location is really excellent, it is very near to city center and its cheap.

we stayed in the seperate apartment in an old era block of flats (that is a site on its own) on the 5th floor, next to the kalemegdan park with one of its two balconies having a wonderfull view on the park. the apartment has one very big room with cable TV, free WiFi, a seperate kitchen with all the facilities and a toilet. The man who runs the hostel is a must and will definetly win you with his manner. Serdjan thank you for the meals, the rakja and hope to see you again. Yannis & Marina

Best hostel I've ever visited! You could not hope to meet a nicer guy than the owner, Srdjan. He walked showed us around Belgrade, helped with anything we needed, even cooked us dinner! Belgrade wouldn't have been the same for me without Madness!

I had a fantastic stay at Madness in April. It's excellent value, well located, clean and the shower is great. But best of all Srdjan is the most welcoming host and downright hilarious. He was exceptionally generous - making us a special Easter dinner, letting people sleep long after check-out time, giving us easter eggs, beer and a good strong coffee to sort out my hangover! Srdjan brought all the hostel guests together, tand it felt like I had an instant group of new friends. Hvala!

it's great place to stay. You should definitely stay in there when you go to belgrad. It's perfect in terms of everything! Owner of hostel is most helpful, cheerful person of the world. You should definitely go and meet that guy even if you dont stay in there. You can drink coffee, alcohol free in anyhour. If you stay in this hostel, best parts of your trip will be in here. It's guaranteed;)

highly recommend the Madness! Srdjan is an amazing host. Brings everyone together and just one of the most hospitable people I've met. From cooking dinner to pouring us drinks, he was just the best. The place to be in Belgrade

Great hostel, fun atmosphere, easy to meet people. The staff was soo nice and really made an effort to make sure my stay was pleasant. Rooms are clean and I would highly recommend this to any traveler looking for budget accommodation in Belgrade.

If you want to experience the real genuine Belgrade, Madness Hostel is the place to be. Aside from the benefits of the hostel being clean and at a splendid location close to the center and a supermarket, Madness hostel was able to give more. Madness hostel is an experience itself. The hostel feels more of a home than a hostel with the best staff,lots of laughter, and hospitality. It has really been one of the greatest hostel stays I have ever had and I am definitely visiting this hostel again!

You don't feel like you're in a hostel, you feel like you have a second home with an amazing host. It's an experience unlike any other hostel I've been to!

Nothing to say, staff was really nice, great location,. We chose the deluxe 2 bed apartment, so we had our own flat which was not far from the Madness hostel. The flat is located just in front of the Fortress, it was really great.
