The lock of the door is not good. You have to try many times to open the door. It is really a big problem.

Way too much noise : - outside : the simple glass window is giving on a plaza - inside : thin isolation between rooms

The staff was nice, but not overly helpful. They didn't know the city as well as you would have hoped.

Excellent located next the the heart of Madrid, Puerta del Sol, and nearby all important sites. 1 min from the metro station. A nice, resonably priced bar at the ground floor. And a good breakfast. Great value for money! And Miguel and his front desk colleagues are super! Muchos Gracias! :)

I stayed at this hostel for 3 nights. Everything is perfect! Clean room, nice staff, good location! When I arrived, a staff recommended me different cool places to go! I strongly recommend you to stay here! And I'll definitely come back here! ;)

The staff was speaking English very well and behaved polite, but I would have expected it to be more welcoming and warm. The breakfast was good for a hostel: fruits, cereals and Toast and Marmelade - as much as you like. Although the hostel didn't really convince me, the free walking tour really did! Our tour guide Laura was amazing, spreading joy to all of us making the tour quite fun.And she was always knowing some interesting stories and facts which made the city and the sights more lively!

A very much family safe hostel, a good place for the weary traveller. A good spot in town and very comfy lodging. Though, the large size makes you have a hotel feeling more than a hostel. Though this is not bad, it means that those lonely fellows may have trouble connecting with other residents in the building. Overall, I enjoyed my stay very much.

This hostel was exactly what I was looking for for my touristic stay in Madrid. My (3-person) room was big and clean, lockers were provided, and the location was great. Breakfast was nice - toast, cereal, milk, fresh fruit. One comment is that the hostel is large and a little impersonal.

We found the location and the staff excellent (one staff member in particular was extremely helpful with regard to our daytrip to Toledo, even writing down bus timings and so on), also really appreciated the drinks vouchers, and liked the idea of the bar downstairs. However, we were a bit disappointed that wi-fi was confined to the basement and ground floor, and that the rooms were pretty cramped. Aside from that however, excellent value for money, enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Perfect location, very clean place, great breakfast, much better than usually in the hostels, even though the stuff could be a bit more friendly. Generally I would recommend the place.

We stayed in a 6-bed ensuite room, and it was pretty cramped. That wasn't too big of a deal since we spent most of our time outside the room. However, a huge downside was that wifi wasn't available in the rooms -- only in the ground floor lobby and bar. Most of the hostels I've stayed in that advertise free wifi have internet access in the rooms, so that was disappointing. The bathroom was really nice and clean, though. Free breakfast was standard - toast, cereal, and other cold offerings.

Only stayed for one night. Staffs are very friendly, good location and clean bathroom. I like how you get your own locker in the room.

The hostel was good, located in central Madrid, a 2 minute walk from the Metro, with restaurants and El Corte Ingles very close. Employees were friendly and the rooms were clean. As a negative point, I emphasize the noise was heard in one of the nights.

STAYED A COUPLE OF NIGHTS , EXCELLENT LOCATION , YOU CAN WALK TO MOST OF THE INTRESTING SIGHTS. BREAKFAST. AND THE COMMON ROOM ARE FAR TOO SMALL FOR THE AMOUNT OF PEOPLE STAYING THERE NO PROPER TABLE AND CHAIRS , NOT EVEN IN THE ROOMS AND WORST NO TV ANYWHERE .HAD A LOVELY TIME THOUGH ,NICE BUFFET RESTAURANT AROUND THE AREA.

This is a GREAT hostel, really 1 block away from Plaza del Sol, this is much more like a Hotel, as we were told by the staff the building used to be a hotel so it remains as it. All the rooms have their own bathroom and lockers, there is an elevator so you will not need to carry your luggage along all the floors by stairs. In the 1st floor there is a bar, where the large glass of beer was 2 euros, the only thing missing is a kitchenThe staff were incredible, they also book us car to the airport.

we only stayed here for one night but everything was excellent and the guy working there was real cool and helped us out. only thing is that we ordered a taxi van to come pick us up and instead we had 2 taxis turn up, which cost us quite a bit more. other than that i'd really recommend this place.
