Staff was helpful and the facilities were clean and organized! Beds were comfortable but you might need to negotiate room temperature with whoever is in the room because it does get cold. Breakfast was helpful in the morning.

No kitchen, no good communal area only a small cafe style area downstairs where no one sits unless for the free breakfast which is toast or cardboard tasting cereal. Great location was the only upside but nothing special

I was upgraded in the middle of the night, which was bittersweet. Close to metro. Elevator broke and the front door doesn't close or lock completely. But there is 24 hour reception so only people that stay in the hostel will be able to get past them.

Only stayed for one night but that night was good. The 6 bed was a small room but giant ensuite bathroom. The location is great and it's fairly easy to find. Would stay here again.

Would not recommend this hostel. Only positive was the location. I was very disappointed in the security. The front door didn't lock and the room doors had old school keys that were difficult to lock. Bathroom was disgusting, and didn't even have hand soap. My pillow had a stain on it. Wifi was awful. Overall very disappointed in my experience

Not photo of hostel. bad wifi. Had large groups of very young kids. Bar not open most of the day and no real hang out area. Not a fun social hostel.

Not the best Hostel in the world for meet and socialize with people. But has a great location

We stayed in a 6 Bed dorm, it was a bit tight space wise but it did the job. Only complaint was that the Internet was terrible and didn't really work.

Despite the friendly staff members, one of them (girl) was unexpectedly unfriendly and i would say - quite rude.

Place was nice and clean which was good. I liked the natural sunlight in my room and the floor plan. The only issue I had was that the wifi did not really work. Did not work at all in my room.

Great hostel in a great location!

The hostel is in standard condition. WiFi wasn't working in our room ( was one far away of the stairs). If you are looking for any luxury in the room, nothing is there. No TV. The room basically has a bed.Breakfast is ok.

Excellent location, complete breakfast, friendly staff. I had a great time in Madrid and part of this great time is attributed to Motion Hostel

Good location

Wifi barely worked in the room and the rooms were extremely hot, there wasn't even access to a fan. You can't split the bill between you and your friends so make sure you bring exact cash.

Motion is a great place, with an unbeatable location. I loved the atmosphere, and the free breakfast.

The beds were very comfy and it was nice to have a private bathroom. However, the hostel needs some updating. Our tub had holes in it and the holder for the shower head was busted. My bed was the only one in the room without a working light. The biggest disappointment was that the lockers didn't have locks included, you had to bring your own. Not all the lockers even had slots for locks and the slots were almost too thin for a Masterlock combination lock. Location made up for some of it.

Overall a decent hostel. Having working wifi in the room would have made he experience a lot better. Other than that a good hostel in a great area.

The hostel bar was very convenient and a good place to hang. The walls were pretty thin so you could hear all of the commotion from the hallways. Overall a fine place for a night.

The location is very good, right in the principle avenue of Madri, near a lot of attractions. The bedroom was really tight, the beds were very close to each other and only one person could walk. The bathroom door didn't have a lock, which I think it was not safe, especially when you are sleeping in a mixed bedroom.
