Although the employess were friendly when we asked to get a refund when we switched hostels, overall they seemed very apathetic and uninterested in their guests. The bathrooms were grimy and the refrigerators in the kitchen had food that must have been expired for at least a year. Only one computer was available for the whole hostel and the internet was terribly slow. The breakfast wasnt appetizing and it was served in dirty, stained dishes. I guess you get what you pay for.

The location is way out of town. We only stayed for one night and it was more than enough. The guy at the desk doesn't speak English, but he was friendly. Our room was between the kitchen and common room and people were up all night talking and cooking so didn't get any sleep. They ran out of towels, the bathroom flooded and the bed sheets didn't seem fresh....no bed bugs though which is nice. People smoke inside too!

Would only stay here for convenience of going to airport, was very quiet, clean enough but no atmosphere or anything going on. Quite far from everything, but serves a purpose if you need to get to airport early like i did (Just be sure what airport the staff tell the taxi company, i was driven half way to international airport and got charged quite a lot which completely defeated the purpose of why i stayed there).

Good place to stay outside the rush of the downtown. Very nice neighborhood. The hostel was very good. Staff was really helpfull and many people from all over the world where staying there. I had a porteño experience, since I met some locals who took me all around. Met the Real Buenos Aires. It was great.

"Bad" doesn't begin to describe my experience with this hostel. I was relocated to a "new branch", six blocks away, which was a very shabby building with a couple of dormitories. There was no locker to secure my personal belongings, two beds in the room were used by members of the staff, who left their personal belongings and food items scattered around. My bed was riddled with male hairs. There were no facilities other than an outside area with a barbecue. Staff was helpful.

this place is not worth of the title hostel, it lacks basics like plates in the kitchen, the location is horrible, you need a 10 minute bus to get to Cabildo (!!!). the beds are lousy, i still have problems with my back. the only thing thats good about this hostel is perhaps the staff, which was pretty helpful.

The kitchen facilities were good. The room however had too many beds in it and so there was no room to circulate. Also the bunk beds were very low so we kept bumping our heads in the upper bunk.
