Magic Bus Hostel is a wonderful and magical place. An amazing atmosphere, friendly and open minded staff. I feel like at home here and I would stay here forever :)

The common areas are very small and cramped, often dirty, and usually in use by staff or their friends. The common computer is not kept in a readily accessible place, and if staff are using it, access may be given grudgingly or not at all. Dorm floor looked like it hadn't been vacuumed for about a month, and as other reviewers have noted, one shower and one toilet between all guests is barely adequate. I didn't feel there was a particularly welcoming atmosphere either.

Atmosphere is really nice, it's like a big shared flat, very friendly and trustful. Unfortunately there is only one shower and one toilet for a bunch of people, and you have to wait quiet often, if you want to use these. You can't shower whenever you want, cause there is sometimes no warm water left. You can smoke on the balcony, thats fine. Becky told me about the free sightseeing tour of ancient Kiev, that was also a very interesting 3 hrs walking tour, and we tipped with 50 hr each.

Very friendly hostel for very friendly people. My girlfriend is Ukrainan although she lives in Italy so I will come back to Kiev for sure and I will definitely come back to Magic Bus. I loved it and all its colours. A big huge for the staff from your Italian friends! Good luck, see ya soon :)

More cozy than antarctic station, more positive than any hippie place, more atmospheric than buddhist temple. I like , and really glad that i was there, hope will be back soon, respect to all MB team, nochnaya zhrica , i will catch you next time.

This is one of the best hostels I have ever stayed in!! The staff was so friendly!

There is only one shower and one toilet for the whole hostel, but if you don't mind waiting for your turn, it's the best hostel you can find in the center. Staff speak really good english.
