The hotel didn\'t get confirmation of my booking from hostels.com. We arrived at 8.30pm in the rain and found nobody there. We contacted the manager and luckily he managed to sort our room out in a couple of hours. My advice: call the hotel to confirm the booking. The room was clean, very comfortable, the location is very good, the manager and his wife are very polite, there is a great restaurant by the bridge, excellent food and not pricey at all. We would happily stay there again

A great location 10 min from Ft Lauderdale, and literally around the corner from a beautiful, quiet beach. Nice kitchen, clean linens, and a good clean bathroom. Staff responded promptly to emails, phone calls. However: no hostel staff on site, paper thin walls, some prostitution going on, windows wouldn\'t close properly, and hair and grit on the tables. Kind of seedy, truthfully. We booked 2 twin beds and arrived to find 1 double bed, but we let it slide. Not a terrific value for $90/night.

Getting hold the manager is very tough and that is a major major issue I have with the property. I had to wait for over half hour calling the manager while it turns out he was behind the property and did not check his mobile phone!! With respect to features and amenities, you pretty much get what you pay for. But I have a much bigger headache after my visit. It's been about three months and I have still not been given my security deposit back and only emails are being exchanged back and forth!

The room was charming, adorable, perfect and totally sweet. I loved squeeky the local cat, too! Being so close to the beach was perfect and enchanting. I really appreciate how helpful and nice Laura was and all around it was a really fantastic place to spend a week stuck mostly in the room and on the grounds while recovering from surgery! I hope to be back sometime when I can enjoy it even more.
