I feel this hostel has deteriorated recently. Although the staff is exceptional and the location couldn't be better, you will be awakened by construction every morning (except Sunday) between 5am and 6am, there is NO HOT WATER, and there was often no soap in the bathrooms or shampoo available for use. Perhaps even worse, someone had her stuff IN OUR PRIVATE ROOM when we arrived until 7pm that night and the hotel never changed the bedding after. I would have expected better for $70/room/night.

The Penthouse is a bit costly for a single traveller but very nice nonetheless, with fine views of the city from all windows. The unlimited supply of coffee (both Duran and Ruiz) helps as well! Management and staff are efficient and helpful, and their driver Carloz got me to Tocumen in half an hour when I had to leave.
