A very nice place to stay and cheaper than some of the others too. Good value for money here and would stay again if i went back to Airlie. Really impressed with getting free Wi-Fi, this was really useful and our room was right next to the wireless area so we could get it in the room instead of going outside!

the hostel is great if you want to meet people and have internet for free, everybody can come in and go out without anyproblem because there is a pub inside but the bathroom where really dirty (ok guests' fault) but he was night when I went there and there was this woman at the reception (blond hair, glasses, middle age) she wasn't polite at all, no smile, no kindness...it wasnt a good welcome!

A good place to go if your looking to party all night every night. Very Noisy, a little gross in terms of the way the guests treat the place, used condoms and rubbish everywhere. Right in the middle of everything though which was good and it also had air conditioning and fridge in the room which was great.

friendly and helpful staff, bar directly next door, very idyllic living area, free wifi, located centrally, ac very noisy, fairly narrow room (2 bed room), limited sanitary facilities (only 2 toilets and showers for a floor)

The magnums backpackers is a nice place.... first.. but they have a bedbug problem. for a pretty long time now and all they do is spray the beds with something that should kill them. but unfortunately it does not!!!! it just makes them run away from the spray. and because they only spray the bottom of the bed... they aaall come up. so if you got bitten like me... just leave the hostel. don't tell them to spray. or you will look like me after that night. and believe me... you don't want to!

(Cheap) bar right next to rooms - easy partying but noise at night if trying to sleep. No common room, only the bar. Wi-fi area was too small.

Free WIFI, Ten Bed Dorms with only one bathroom is not enough.

At check-in one woman I think it was Sandra, an older lady was so rude she really needs to find a job a long way away from the public, unbeleivable. We weren't expecting much from this hostel after reading the reviews so we were happy with what we got. It's really incredibly loud there though despite the signs that there is no drinking or loud noise aloud in the accomodation area there is always a mass of parties.

My room mate had really bad Bed bug bites and the staff were a little anal about it and the cleaners didn't really care too much, I think if regular checks were done then they would be kept at bay as so many people come and go and it sch an amazing place, i know for a fact f i was bitten by bed bugs i would have given a very bad review.
