Gustavo, the owner, is very welcoming and very helpful to arrange trips to the jungle or the surrounding villages. He has a lot of contacts among the guides in the region. The hostel is in the city center, just 5 minutes by walking of everything. It is quite quiet at night. Plus, it is cheap, so it's definitely a very good address.

This place is one step up from camping, it\'ll help you adjust if you want to go into the amazon jungle. The door locks are strange, you can lock other people inside their dorm. The free bike hire is nice, you\'ll need it to go to Brazil.

When we got there, there was no room for us. He gave us the option of sleeping in another house 4 km away from the city of Leticia, paying ourselves the taxi/bus to get there every day. Unacceptable.

Rustic hostel, definitely the cheaper of the area. Gustavo, the owner, is a real character, can give u really good infos and really makes the difference! A sign in front of the hostel could help to find it. Really good the possibility to use the bycicles. I\'d recommend it!

Great hostel, Gustavo Rene is really helpful with sorting out trips into the rainforest. He didnt try and force one of his own tours on me, but did offer friendly advice. Plus if you want to, you can have many an interesting philosophical chat over a coffee. He also took me down to the port and helped me to find out information on boats to Manaus, which was very kind of him indeed.

Be carefull when going to this hostel. The owner Gustavo will do anything to get you to buy his over expensive tours and they are not worth the money. Try to arrange something yourself, fx going to santa sofia where you can stay with Rogelio, an indigenos man who will show you around the jungle ect. 3 meals a day and a stay in his village for only 15.000 pesos per night!highly recommended! dont listen to Gustavo tho, he told me i would get kidnapped there and was very angry about my choice..

I know the hostel is on the rim of the Amazon, but it doesn´t have to look it - e bit of improvement here and there can go a long way. Good place to launch visits into the surrounding wilderness though and some interesting people - had fun. Owner very helpful with everything...if you take his tour...a bit grumpy with those who opted for other service providers. Free use of bicycles is a great idea and assistance with transport super. An overall great experience.
