The hostel is in a great location, very near to the main sights, the staff were very friendly.

The location is the best possible: in the exact center of the city. The staff was friendly and helpful. Note that it's not an hostel but a shared apartment, so the atmosphere is not that of an hostel (no common room, no kitchen, only one bathroom, ...).

The hostel's location is very good, and the administrator Irina is very nice. That said: the hostel is actually an apartment; there's only 1 WC; there's only 1 bathroom (with cockroaches in it!), so if someone is taking a shower (in the dirty bathtub) one can't brush his teeth; there's no common room; sometimes there's no administrator at all; I paid more than indicated for the taxi service.

Our stay at Main Square Hotel was rather good. The location of the hostel is excellent and the hostel administrator Irina is very nice. But there is only one bathroom for the whole hostel so if you want to shower around 10-11 p.m. you'll have to wait in a queue. Furthermore, there is only one sink in the hostel and you can't brush your teeth if someone is taking a shower at the moment. Apart form that the hostel is perfect.

I was extremly disappointed with this hostel. We arrived there and got the answer of the girl working their that they do not have any rooms free. She called a friend from a sister-hostel were we got 3 beds in an 10 bed dorm (we booked a 3 bed private!). We took it because it was Easter and nothing else was free. During our stay they put even more beds in the room, resulting that we slept in a room with 13 other persons! I won't recommend this hostel to anyone who wants to sleep there!
