It looks almost too nice to be a youth hostel! Very nice place, easy to find, close to the public transportations. They serve breakfast as an all you can eat buffet, which is nice. All around I highly recommend it.

Everything is perfect EXCEPT for the misleading name lol. I walked about 20~30 minutes to the hostel on my check-in day and had to walk through serious rain and gusts to the bus station for about 10 minutes on my check-out day. Really wish your accessibility from the Berlin Hbf was better. I suggest you direct people from Berlin Hbf to Westhafen station via S-Bahn and make them walk from there. Much shorter walk is guaranteed that way.

Hostel was nice and new, great bathroom however the place is not close to anything. You have the station close by but it still takes some time for you to get close to restaurants, bars, sites etc. Staff were not very helpfull with things and the place is advertsied to have a restaurant and there is infact no restaurant (no big deal but don't say there is one). Yes it was good for money but there was no atmosphere in the place, if I were a lone traveller it would not be a good place to stay.

Great place! Super affordable. More of a hotel than hostel. Close to transportation to get to city and train station! Would defiantly stay here again.

A great place and very accomodating. We left our luggage there before check in and the staff was very nice and helpful. The kitchen was good and the rooms were very modern and clean (especially the bathrooms!), like staying in a hotel! The only complaint we had was that the beds were not very comfortable at all and the matresses too thin.

The hostel breakfast is excellent. Rooms are clean and pleasant to stay in. It's far from the easy side but it's an easy train ride away

Great place, close by a train station and a LiDL, at least a half hour walk to anyplace in the Mitte (city). Clean place, lockers in rooms, equipped kitchen, plenty of space and good wifi. This place has it all!

It was my second time in Main Station Hostel! Last time some other friend booked it and I didnt recognize it was the same until I get to the bridge! I totally recommend it! The staff and the conditions are excellent and it's quite cheap! In my opinion the localization it's not an inconvenient. Berlin is so huge you would most probably buy a tourist card with discounts for museums and transport included and the hostel is pretty close to the S-bahn&U-bahn so it doesn't make much difference.

Like many other travelers, I was very surprised by the hotel-feel of this hostel. It is like a nice, clean, hotel, though, and I personally enjoyed the quiet. ^_^

this was a good hostel for the cost, next to the s-bahn and close to the airport. the kitchen was nice and everything was clean. cheap beer and giant flat screen tv and lots of tables, plus good fast wireless internet means you dont even have to go out at night if you don't feel like it. not anything special, but like i said, good value and no complaints or horror stories.

This is a smart, clean and considerate hostel. The doorms are decorated and laid out so they feel homely. The downstairs lounge and restaurant area is pleasant. The entire place is cleaned thoroughly everyday by an army of workers. The staff are friendly, considerate and fun especially Sven. Although not in the centre of Berlin, it is on the circle line, giving you access to the whole city within half an hour. Highly recommended!!

Pretty good. Had a decent bar at reception and breakfast was nice. Nice quiet location; Berlin's metro system made everything accessible. The pub down the road, Lichtblick, was excellent.

We had a great stay at Main Station Hostel. It's a little far from the center of Berlin, but we wanted a place close to the airport, which it is. The hostel is very clean and quiet. The fully stocked kitchen is a great amenity. We had a lovely stay!
