We had quite a nice stay here. The pool and view were lovely. The room was basic but ok and the staff were helpful. All in all we enjoyed our time here though the food was pretty expensive.

Off-season. This hotel brags of "Australian owned, chef, & standards" but should add "Australian prices". eg spring rolls - $4 which are $1 (for three, not two) nearby. The indifferent staff (except Siti & the maintenance guy) sat around the bar area playing cards and doing little. No warmth or helpfulness. Perhaps they could spend a few minutes clearing the disgusting accumulated rubbish off the beach in front, as neighbouring hotels do on a daily basis. All closed up by 9pm.

GREAT facilities. Really nice (but small) pool right on the beach. There is a FABULOUS Thai restaurant just around the corner called Ketut's Warang and has amazing Pad Thai. The rooms are nothing special, in fact, in need of a face lift, but the beautiful exterior makes up for the lackluster interior!

We booked what was billed as an entire villa, but this was not the case. Instead, it was two regular rooms on ground floor and a suite on upper floor. True, all in the same building, but no internal connection. Misrepresentation. Although the local staff was great, this place left a bad taste in our mouth. In classic colonial-speak, was billed as having Aussie hygiene, but they wouldn't fix our clogged toilet, bathrooms not clean, rooms open to the air despite a/c, food marginal
