Great location and excellent staff. Would stay again!

Great location, place was clean Only comments on the down side was the supplies in the kitchen. For example - There was coffee but the expresso maker did not come apart to work. The fridge did not really work well and nothing was cold enough. Overall was a good experience but would have thought these small things would not be problems.

Maison de Alexandre is located in a very convenient part of Rome- close to most of the major tourist attractions and sights of the city. Marco is also a very helpful host and was always available if we needed anything. The two things that we had an issue came from the bathroom, as the sink was not in working order and there was there no hot water in the shower. The rooms, however, were very clean and tidy.

Excellent hostel! Marco was very helpful with any questions we had

It was such a great located and clean place. Marco was very helpful and kind. Hotel is just 20 metres away from metro station. Additionally, most of the historic attractions are in walking distance. I would definitely go there again.

Great place to stay! Quiet, clean, and a good alternative to loud party hostels. Marco was extremely helpful. The only thing I would improve is that there was no air conditioning or fans in the room, and Rome gets really hot, so the nights were a bit uncomfortable when trying to sleep... Especially since we had to keep the window open and my friend and I are irresistible to mosquitos. Overall, it was a lovely place and I highly recommend it!

Staff is awesome. Extremely helpful, great spot near the Ancient Roman sites. I make regular trips to Rome and had to try a new place this trip. Rest assured I have found a preferred spot.

Perfect location...huge room...

Booked here after having a bad experience at another hostel. The staff here were so hopeful and nice. It's an amazing place to stay. I really recommend staying here

Thank you so much Marco for your hospitality. We much enjoyed our stay and your recommendations were excellent. Would be back if in the area for sure.

Amazing place, place and people. Marco was beyond helpful and gave us great suggestions for places to eat. The location couldn't have been better. We walked to the first corner went to pull out the map and glanced to left and there was the colosseum! A wonderful time. Thanks Marco!

We spent just one night but found everything we needed, not far from Otello metro stop & St. Peter's. We booked online very last-minute (within hours of arrival), but staff were ready for us and available to check us in right away. Strong wi-fi, very hot water (shower had its own water heater - had to turn it way down!), cable TV, and on a quiet street. The door/walls may be a bit thin - when another guest came home we could hear them quite clearly - but that was the only peep we heard.

Marco was incredibly helpful with recommendations for food and sightseeing. Breakfast is light and the location isn't centrally located for the city. However, a great stay with extremely helpful staff!
