Close to everything, in the cool Monti neighborhood, easy to find, and Marco will give you the lowdown on everything nearby!

Just amazing! Location was a key factor here. Also its super secure, really nice and is really more like a hotel than a hostel. 10 out of 10!

The guy running the place was amazing, the twin room was big and nicely decorated, and the location is great. We were able to walk to everything and found some fantastic places to eat nearby. Only downside was one bathroom between 9 of us, which involved some waiting time.

Hi James, Thanks for leaving a comment, I think you have the wrong number of people for the bathroom. as by law the maximum is 6 people and so it is. the third bedroom does not use the shared bathroom because it has a private bathroom. thanks again for being from noi.quando you will be you will be the well come

This is a nice, clean apartment run by Marco, a friendly, helpful gentleman who made himself available by phone and consistently stocked his kitchen with snacks for us. Location has its pros and cons. It's 5 minutes from the Colosseum and even closer to the Metro. However, it's a bit of a trek from other attractions like the Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, or the Spanish Steps but you can easily get to these by bus if you can figure out the system.

Great location and excellent staff. Would stay again!

Great location, place was clean Only comments on the down side was the supplies in the kitchen. For example - There was coffee but the expresso maker did not come apart to work. The fridge did not really work well and nothing was cold enough. Overall was a good experience but would have thought these small things would not be problems.

Maison de Alexandre is located in a very convenient part of Rome- close to most of the major tourist attractions and sights of the city. Marco is also a very helpful host and was always available if we needed anything. The two things that we had an issue came from the bathroom, as the sink was not in working order and there was there no hot water in the shower. The rooms, however, were very clean and tidy.

Excellent hostel! Marco was very helpful with any questions we had

It was such a great located and clean place. Marco was very helpful and kind. Hotel is just 20 metres away from metro station. Additionally, most of the historic attractions are in walking distance. I would definitely go there again.

Great place to stay! Quiet, clean, and a good alternative to loud party hostels. Marco was extremely helpful. The only thing I would improve is that there was no air conditioning or fans in the room, and Rome gets really hot, so the nights were a bit uncomfortable when trying to sleep... Especially since we had to keep the window open and my friend and I are irresistible to mosquitos. Overall, it was a lovely place and I highly recommend it!

Staff is awesome. Extremely helpful, great spot near the Ancient Roman sites. I make regular trips to Rome and had to try a new place this trip. Rest assured I have found a preferred spot.

Perfect location...huge room...
