There was really awful facilities in hostel. The worst thing is the wifi couldn't working.

Maison is in a great location (if you don't mind trekking up four flights of stairs to get to it) just up the street from the Duomo, and has a nice little kitchen/common area where you can cook to your heart's delight and make friends. There are two bathrooms that are quite clean and two dorm rooms with cool ceilings, as well as perfectly comfy beds each with a different blanket and character. Yuri, the owner, is a mite gruff yet very nice and accomodating. If you care, the wifi is awful.

Squeaky crappy bunk beds, average service, shady additional extra charge (new tax?)

The location of this hostel definitely was the best thing about it. It is located a five minute walk from the Duomo and is also very close to the train station. The room we had was not amazing. Two of the beds we used were very uncomfortable as the mattresses were either deformed or had very little padding. The computer that they let the guests use was broken when we were there, but one of the staff let us use his iphone which was nice, but a computer would have been better of course.

This hostel felt like an apartment. It was small and the reception was downstairs so It was nice to have a place where you could feel a bit at home. Good kitchen and it was nice to meet people in such a small environment.

Location is good, but Florence is a small city either way. The top bunk was squeaky and rattled the whole bed whenever I made a small movement. I was provided with a sleeping bag for bedding... But it was dirt cheap, you get what you pay for. Kitchen and bathroom was nice.

Great location just down the road from the Duomo; kitchen was well supplied and a nice place to meet people (in the stead of a common room) and the staff let me use some of their condiments; a balcony to hang clothes and smoke; charming hand-written signs chocabloc with spelling mistakes. I would probably come back here.

There are not 24h reception, no lockers for the baggage, and if you need to keep your stuff at the hostel during the day (after check out) you need to pay. Except for this problems, I would recomend the hostel because it's very cheap and very well located!

I really liked this hostel, it is very central and the dude who runs it is really nice. Although it could do with a free walking tour or a free breakfast to make it cooler, but I'd definitely come back here.

I booked 2 nights for this hostel for me and my boyfriend, then we told our friend to book the same one for convenience of meeting up. When we arrived, my boyfriend and I were placed on a separate floor than our friend, whose entrance was labeled "The Queens"... not sure if it's supposed to be a different hostel, but you needed a key to access either floor so the situation was a bit less convenient than we had planned. Otherwise, good location and decent facilities. Staff was mediocre.

I really enjoyed staying at Maison. The host was very friendly, he gives you a map and marks all the things on it that you might want and need. It is also in a really good location. The only negatives are that there are lots of stairs and the wifi was a bit iffy at times.

Excellent location, kind and helpful staff. Though wifi did not work, everything else was good enough for this price.

It was ok, you get what u pay for so don't expect anything fantastic and you'll be fine. Great location in the center.

I really recommend this Hostel, is near the train Station Santa Maria novella and of the main attractions. The kitchen is great and the bathrooms are very clean. The beds is a little bit old, but that is fine.

Very well located hostal, I would definitely return. The staff will not provide a lot of help but it is a good value for your money.

No elevator, too many steps to climb up. Initially booked a 5-bed dorm room but they gave us a 10-bed dorm. Only one dim light for a 10-bed dorm, quite dark in the room most of the time. Not enough power point to charge Don't be surprise if you come back with your luggage missing, staff will hide your luggage on your last day in fear of you running away and not paying them. I find this nonsensical & totally weird! Love the toilets though, really spacious and clean!
