No one was there when we arrived.(I mailed to the owner about a week before). A house keeper who lives outside the main building woke up and could not do anything. We had to honk a horn from the van we came. Finally a woman came to let us in. In the website, it is written that the reception opens 24 hours, but actually, it is not. The room was big but toilet is not that clean in the toilet. It is far from the city center, but very quiet.

Absolute Awesome view from the top flor where the breakfast is served. Big and spacious rooms with mosquito net, tv and ac. Very friendly and trustworthy staff. Would be good to increase availability of reception personell for general assistance during the day but also when arriving late night.

When I got to the hotel, it was like the place was deserted. I had to search for staff to book in (admittedly I was told the receptionist was fired). There aren't any signs in english to help out. It was a bit like being in the big hotel in "The Shining". That being said the place is a solid 30 minute walk from the centre of town. The manager and other people working at the hotel were excellent good people and were very helpful

This is an excellent place to stay and highly recommend it! This guest house is family owned and run, where the entire family pitches in to make the guests feel comfortable by looking after every detail. My room was spacious, very clean, and had a nice view from the balcony. They are more than willing to sit down with to help with local advice and planning your trip around Sri Lanka. They also have a nice restaurant on the property with attentive staff.

It was a great stay, the owner and his wife went way out of their way to show me around and make sure I don't miss any sights and know all the tricks - it's an absolute great tip for the female solo traveller and the lovely hotel has rooms which are clean as a whistle and very spacious and decorated with lovely details. Make sure you try the rooftop terrace restaurant and order some rice and curry, it is delicious. :)

Nice place to stay. The owner has a lot of tips and takes care very well. They promote tours, but unfortunately not trekking at knuckles range, which is beautiful. Laundry is not working at the moment and the restaurant is a bit expensive, but food is very good.

place is a bit out of centre but not miles away. there was only a couple of people staying there while we were there so a bit quiet. the owner was extremely helpful and friendly and went out of his way to help overall very good value for money

We stayed at here three times during our holiday, and we would not have chosen anywhere else. The room was spacious and had a lovely view down the valley to Kandy. The hotel is a 15-minute walk from town, so it's great if you want to be a little way from the noise and pollution of the town centre. The restaurant food was always freshly prepared and delicious (if a little pricey). Joseph and Komari were so helpful and welcoming, and will do all they can to make sure you have an enjoyable stay.
