Great location for what we had to do our last trip. The staff were great. Even though the hostel is in a busy location, it was very quiet. We will be staying there again.

Happy with the stay! The owner, Tess, is there most days&easy to deal with. The Building is well maintained, not perfect, but excellent value for money. Everything is available within a short walking distance, and the neighbourhood is safe, the Internet is good, but sometimes has to be reset, not often. The rooms are fine for this standard, but the AC is a little undersized, and will take a day to cool the place down. GD for BM on a budget or long stay-cheap taxi to Makiti CBD or AVE 70PHP.

It was a real self contained apartment. Not massive but better than just a room. Didn;t seem like a social place although i didnt spend much time there.

Excellent security which is important in Manila. Location is okay. The common areas are very clean, the rooms could be a little cleaner. Big apartment style rooms with kitchen, closet etc. - stayed there 3 times in 3 different rooms. Only one AC in each apartment and so it takes forever to cool the whole place. Therefore we closed the doors and only cooled the bedroom. Double beds are a (little) too small. Internet ok. Sometimes wierd smell from outside and canalization. Overall okay!

Good place for the money. No taxi could find it so had a difficult getting back. They also made arrangements for a taxi to take me to the airport but it did not show. They should be more responsible and make sure they work with trustworthy taxi companies. I could have missed my flight had I not started early.

Need some reading/table lamps. The electric lights are adequate, just not for reading. I had to buy Akari lantern @ ShopWise to be able to read. Also, please upgrade the bath towels. They're almost threadbare.. Staff was very helpful, polite and very accommodating. Will recommend to my friends and I will be staying there again tn the future.

It is actually not a room but a real apartment ! So it is very cheap for what you get : bed, kitchen and bathroom !! In a former colonial house.

It was difficult to use the Internet in the rooms, as the wifi would not read on our iPads and tablets, however, it was just as comfortable sitting in reception to use the Internet. It was great how when all us girls got out of taxis that someone would already be at the door, letting us inside, carrying any of our bags we had also.

Taxis can have trouble finding it, so look for the big ShopWise supermarket at the crossroads nearby. Once you have your bearings you can tell the taxi to head for that and guide them from there. Staff will give you a map. McDonalds, Shakeys and other places are at the crossroads - less than 5 minutes walk. There is also a list of food delivery numbers in your room if you don't want to go anywhere. Ask for a room away from the street for a quiet stay. Great value, huge room, good staff, secure.

nice cheap place. my room was clean but a little bit dark and smelly (moldy) but i guess is common in Manila. I had a complete room with bath, tv, kitchen, little living area

Basic, clean room. Air-conditioning, kettle, fridge. Excellent staff, very helpful. Wifi, although not strong enough for in room use, they have chairs and tables beside the router. Room was a bit noisy, but hey, that's Manila. The staff are the reason to return.

In general it was very nice, all the staff members and services are good. The location wasn't the best. We didn't heard anything and no one did anything against us but looks a bit dangerous. Besides that I have no complain, transportation is not a problem and you can find all the facilities you need close to the place, the room was always clean and smell good and is quit at night.

I had a privat room and it was lots of space for only myself. Everything was clean and the stuff were really helpful. Couldnt pay the first day because I had to change my Australian Dollars into Pesos, so they let me pay the next day. Really friendy. It was really safe, because there was always somebody at the entrance door. So it felt good, to be safe in this big city.

Ultra polite staff. Absolutely the most polite and kind people I've met on my trip. I can absolutely advise this place. One thing that you have know. Neighborhood looks quite strange. But you don't have to spend time there. So except this cons really good.

Great place! It was a quiet oasis in noisy Manila. We had a booking and arrived too early in the morning (4 am), there was no room for early check-in. But the staff tried all their best for our comfortable stay. Thank them for it! Honestly, that's an apartment. 2 rooms and little kitchen, bathroom and fast wi-fi. Daily room service. We enjoyed our stay here and would return again! The location is not very good: far from LRT, crowd of orphans on the next street. But that's the only minus!
