Awesome place! The location is perfect, straight down town. Staff is very kind, they can show you places for anything you want to do, they also offer activity outside the city including paragliding!!!. Rooms are great, nice and clean. Really love this place, I recommend it 100%

An excellent hostel, particularly for the solo traveller. The kitchen is a great place to meet people and it feels a lot like being at home. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, sharing their knowledge of the city and the surrounding hills, which were an unexpected highlight of my trip. The best hostel I've stayed at so far.

First of all, nobody was at the hostel during a full time, so, when I left the hostel, at 9:45, nobody was there to receive my keys and make my check out. I left the keys with a message saying good bye. Second, they told me that it was a breakfast at 9:30 and it was not. During the night it was very cold. During my trip in Europe I stayed in better and cheaper hostels.

I was recommended to Maktub by a friend and I could immediately see why when I arrived. I was greeted by a room full of friendly staff and guests and was treated like family throughout my stay. Great ambiance, relaxed vibe, and helpful staff...I'll definitely be back!
